I bought a new Mi Max today but seems wi-fi is not working. Anyone else also faced the same guys?
Please suggest a fix for it, if anyone knows.

Check if new update available.
If still problem persists it might be an hardware issue, you will have to get it replaced.
BTW from where did you ordered?

Yes, that’s true. When they are selling, why don’t they sell devices without any faults. It is ok if out of 100 one is defective, but here most of them are defective. Like it happened with Redmi Note 3.
Mine also defective.. Sim slot 2 not supporting 3g & 4g network……. Placed an replacement already
Any update boy?
try resetting the device.
