Hello,

I have taken health insurance policy for my parents but declared wrong height for both my parents . My father actual height is 5.2 inch ,I declared it 5.4 inch . and same 2-3 inch difference in mothers’ height measurement . I have got the policy document now , I do not find any height mentions there on the policy doc . so I assume they do not check height of insured person that strictly when they release the payment otherwise they would have mentioned it on insurance document . when they mention DOB and Name and Gender.

What do think , should I ignore this issue ? or it will arise serious problem ?

If it was filled by you then contact customer care and inform them…it it was filled by them then tell them that you noticed it and need to correct

Then talk to the issuing person of policy Bazaar…or the insurance company…

Dont take risk, insurance companies find all kinds of reasons to reject claims, hence get it updated or return the policy

Although not an issue as height difference is no significant.
Height and weight data is used to calculate BMI and extra premium is charged if BMI is high.

Call the insurance company first and ibform about the correct height. Also without fail write a mail giving policy number and correct details.
