Wrongly Transfer IMPS - Help

Hi Guys,
In last week i transfer 2k from sbi to kotak bank, if any 1 have kotak bank ac they know CRN number..
CRN number is not our account number , so in hurry i have transferred 2k to to my CRN number instead of AC number..
Now will i get return that 2k or not >?
Or i need to do any process for that.. TIA&KG

Most likely, 99.9% it will be unsuccessful transaction and should be credited back to source. Possible that SBI may not do so automatic. Follow up with SBI manually.

Most of the times they u will get refund at end of the day or worst case 3 days you will get refund automatically.. don worry.. i faced this situation most of the times with sbi due to their technical error for valid IMPS details i provided

SBI is the worst bank for IMPS transfers. They process IMPS only between 8AM and 8PM and failed transactions take 2-3 days to refund. Dont worry, your amount will automatically return to your account unless there is an account No. in Kotak Bank same as your CRN number which is probably not possible due to difference in the number of digits.
TL;DR : Dont worry, you will get your money back in 2-3 days of transaction.

Yupp, quite sad, although I don’t understand any logical reason behind it. It’s not as if a person is processing the transactions and when other banks provide IMPS service 24 hours a day (some of them, even without charging any fees) why cant SBI (they charge approx Rs 5.8 per transaction).

IMPS via Netbanking is charged at Rs.5.8 but IMPS via mobile banking is absolutely free.
IMPS Services in SBI are not 8AM to 8 PM. It’s just that SBI is facing some technical issues from 1-2 months due to which such things are happening. Have read somewhere that it is bcoz they have changed their technology provider and are thus facing migration issues.
Otherwise SBI services were 24×7
Can’t say about mobile banking since I dont use it.
I have been using SBI Netbanking since 2007 and IMPS on SBI Netbanking since March 2014, I don’t remember that far, but I am pretty sure that since the last 7-8 Months it has been from 8AM to 8PM
