Correct, and they have been providing good products at very reasonable prices. None of indian companies are able to match their quality.
I don’t think its bad to put money in chinese/foreign companies especially where there is no 100% Indian company. So atleast they have manufacturing facility in india where they make them ad employ a number of indians.
It won’t be possible for any indian company at such a price to provide this quality.

I dont care the make in India or China, after bombarding users with ads and soft po*n all day,
i dont think i will buy an MI phone ever again

Seems normal to me
Xiaomi is also a part of “Make in India” campaign started by our current PM (No idea about shares*)
These brands were invited to set up their manufacturing plants in India and now based on their recent statement..most of the popular Xiaomi products sold in India are made in India (99% they say..may be except few flagships)
