Amazon True Fan Quiz Contest

AMAZON TRUE FAN QUIZ CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These contests (individually defined below and hereinafter referred to as “Contest 1” and “Contest 2” and collectively referred to as the “Contest(s)”) are made available on the mobile application of www.ama...in (“Mobile Application”) by Amazon Seller Services Private Limited (“Amazon” / “ASSPL”). Please read these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) before entering the Contest.
You agree that, by participating in this Contest, you will be bound by these T&Cs and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements as provided herein below.

These T&Cs are in addition to the Mobile Application Conditions of Use and the Privacy Notice to which you agree by using the Mobile Application. To the extent the Amazon.in Conditions of Use are inconsistent with these T&Cs; these T&Cs will prevail with respect to the Contest only. Notwithstanding anything contained in these T&Cs, Amazon has a right to remove this Contest from its Website at any time in its sole discretion without any prior notice.

For the purposes of these T&Cs, wherever the context so requires “You” or “Your” shall mean any natural person who is a participant in the Contest.

ELIGIBILITY AND HOW TO ENTER:

1.You need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to enter the Contest:

(a) You should be an individual legal resident of the Republic of India;
(b) You should have set India as your current country in your account settings on Amazon.in;
© You have a billing address within the territory of India; and
(d) You should be of an age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contest.

2.Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors, advertising agencies are not eligible to enter the Contest.

3.The Contests will commence on 4th October, 2016 at 12:00:00 am (IST) and end on 12th December, 2016 at 11:59:59 pm (“Contest Period”).

4.In order to be eligible for the Contests, during the Contest Period you must either (a) download the Mobile Application and sing-up thereon; or (b) if you are already a Mobile Application user, sign-in from an account on the Mobile Application.

5.The Contests include (a) a weekly contest wherein Amazon will conduct 10 (ten) weekly quizzes as outlined below (“Contest 1”); and (b) a contest for the participants of Contest 1 who answer any Quiz Question(s) (as defined below) correctly, as detailed further below (“Contest 2”).

DETAILS OF THE CONTESTS

A. WEEKLY CONTEST (CONTEST 1)

1.Amazon will display 1 (one) quiz question every week for 10 (ten) weeks during the Contest Period as per the schedule provided on the main contest page on the app. The Quiz Questions & aforementioned schedule will be displayed on the Mobile Application page that can be reached by searching “true fan” in the search bar of the Amazon mobile application home page and the results of the Quizzes will be announced, in accordance with the below schedule on the app contest page:

2.Every customer participating in the Contest 1 will be required to answer the weekly Quiz Question posted on the Mobile Application correctly to be entitled to be considered to participate in Contest 1 (such customer answering the Quiz Question correctly is hereinafter referred to as “Eligible Customer”)

3.At the end of the quiz period every week, the Eligible Customer(s) will be entitled to participate in a draw of lots and two winners will be selected every week by a random draw of lots for the Contest 1. Such selected winners will receive an e-mail notification from Amazon and will be required to follow such other steps as mentioned in the e-mail will be entitled to win a ‘Fitbit Flex Wireless Activity Tracker and Sleep Wristband’ (colour depending on availability) each (hereinafter referred to as “Contest 1 Prize”) provided by Amazon.

4.A total of 20 (twenty) winners, i.e. 2 (two) winners from each weekly quiz will be selected as winners by a random draw of lots for the Contest 1 during the Contest Period.

B. FULLY PAID TRIP TO ENGLAND (CONTEST 2)

1.At the end of the Contest Period, the Eligible Customers will be entitled to a draw of lots and two winners selected by such draw will be selected as winners of the Contest 2. Such selected winners will receive a notification e-mail from Amazon and will be required to follow such other steps as mentioned in the e-mail will be entitled to win ‘a fully paid trip to watch a football game in England’, funded by Star India Private Limited (“Star Sports” or “Brand”) (hereinafter referred to as “Contest 2 Prize”).

2.For the avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that the Contest 2 Prize includes: (a) economy airfare to and fro to England; (b) match tickets for an EPL football match in England; and © hotel stay for 3 (three) days and 2 (two) nights at a 3 (three) star hotel in England. Further details of the flights, football match, hotel stay, dates, etc., will be communicated to the selected winner(s) by Star Sports directly.

For purposes herein, Contest 1 Prizes and Contest 2 Prizes are collectively referred to as “Prize(s)”.
