Terms & Conditions for Diwali Intrigue Construct- Treasure Hunt

Flipkart Internet Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Flipkart”) is offering a chance to play a Treasure Hunt (“Offer”) from 20th October, 2016 to 24th October, 2016 (“Offer Period”) wherein You have an opportunity to participate & win rewards mentioned below subject to the terms of this Policy mentioned below (“Policy”).

This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Rules thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record does not require any physical or digital signatures. Wherever the context so requires “You/Your/Users” shall mean any buyer on the Platform. “Flipkart”/“We”/“Our” shall mean Flipkart Internet Private Limited.
There is no fee to participate in this Offer and the participation is voluntary and the Offer is free to any user of flipkart.com/Flipkart Mobile App (“Platform”). By participating in this Offer (as defined below), You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and other relevant documentation that are available on www.flipka...om including any modifications, alterations or updates that We make.
To participate in the Offer:
You need to be a current or a new user of the Platform and You need to log into Flipkart to participate in the Offer.
You need to be 18 years or above.
The Offer operates as follows:
A list of 6 questions relating to particular product sold on the Platform are required to be answered by You.
To answer these 6 questions, You need to identify the 6 products on the Platform.
Once You have identified the right products, You need to add the same to the Wish list. Please note that You do not have to purchase the Products in the wishlist, but only place the products in the cart to qualify to win.
If the answers provided by You are correct and all the 6 products have been correctly identified within the Offer Period, You stand a chance to win Flipkart Gift Vouchers worth Rs. 1,000 (“Reward”) each. The Reward shall not be settled with cash in lieu by Flipkart.
During the Offer Period, 20 winners will be chosen by Flipkart, at its sole discretion. The decision of Flipkart in choosing the winner shall be final.
The winners of the contest will be announced on Flipkarts Twitter handle @flipkart on 25th Ocotber 2016
The Gift Card codes shall be sent to your registered email id in the event that You win the Offer on or after 25th October 2016. You acknowledge and confirm that You are aware of the nature of telecommunications/ internet services and that an email transmission may not be received properly and may be read or be known to any unauthorised persons. You agree to assume and bear all the risks involved in respect of such errors and misunderstanding and Flipkart shall not be responsible in any manner.
You need internet connection to participate in this Offer.
The Rewards are non-transferrable and have dates of applicability and shall be subject to the specific terms and conditions for these Rewards in the Platform.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy.
You are not bound in any way to participate in the Offer and any such participation is voluntary.
The Offer shall be subject to force majeure events and on occurrence of such an event, the Offer may be withdrawn at the sole discretion of Flipkart.
Flipkart reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify You, if You tamper or attempt to tamper with the Offer or violate the Policy or makes malicious use of the Offer.
Flipkart shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising due to participation by any person in the Offer.
Flipkart reserves the right to change start and end date as well as terms and conditions of the Offer at its discretion.
You hereby agree to indemnify and keep Flipkart harmless against all damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, claims, suits and proceedings (including reasonable attorney’s fee) that may be suffered by Flipkart as a consequence of (i) violation of terms of this Policy by You; (ii) violation of applicable laws; (iii) any action or inaction resulting in wilful misconduct or negligence on Your part.
Flipkart shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or any other liability arising due to participation by any person in this Offer.
The Offer is valid only in India.
This Policy shall be governed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. Courts at Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise under this Policy.
The Offer shall be subject to the Income-Tax Act, 1961 and all disbursements shall be subject to TDS, as applicable.
All issues / concerns related to the Offer should be raised within 10 days of completion of this Offer as we will not keep the data of the user’s activity post that and hence will be unable to debug.
