#SpiceDemocracy Initiative (“Initiative”)
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.The said Initiative is organized by SpiceJet Limited (“SpiceJet”) and is open to all the citizens of India, except for the employees of SpiceJet, their immediate family members, affiliates and/or those related to the agency(ies) involved in whatever manner in connection with this Initiative.
2.The Initiative is open for participation on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter from 00.00 Hrs on 30/1/2020 to 23.59 Hrs on 8/2/2020, post which any participation shall not be considered.
3.To participate in the Initiative, the participant has to do the following:
Visit the Initiative registration page, and register themselves by providing their contact details.
Post on their Facebook/ Instagram/ Twitter profile(s) a reason on what inspires them to vote in the Delhi Assembly Elections, along with #SpiceDemocracy, and ask their friends/followers to like and share the post.
If shortlisted, book a roundtrip air ticket to Delhi on SpiceJet flight and make payment, with date of departure being 7th or 8th of February, 2020 and date of return being 8th or 9th February, 2020, using the link that will be sent across by SpiceJet.
If shortlisted, fly to Delhi, vote in the Delhi Elections and upload a selfie to their Facebook/ Instagram/ Twitter profile(s) with their inked finger, along with #SpiceDemocracy.
If shortlisted, get verified at the check-in counter and collect the boarding pass for their return journey.
If shortlisted, fly back and share their travel experience.
4.Shortlisted participants who have completed all of the aforementioned steps will be gratified with a full refund on their roundtrip ticket if their date of departure and return is 8/2/2020, and the refund of a one-way ticket(s) if their date of departure is 7/2/2020 or their date of return is 9/2/2020. The gratification is not applicable on group bookings.
5.SpiceJet will only bear the base fare of the air ticket(s). The winner(s) will have to bear all applicable taxes, surcharges, levies and any other additional costs, incurred on the air tickets won under the said Initiative.
6.The shortlisted participants of the said Initiative will be notified via email/SMS on 6/2/2020.
7.The tickets won under this Initiative are only applicable across SpiceJet’s network.
8.The air ticket(s) won under the Initiative are non-reschedulable, non- transferable, non-refundable and neither can be exchanged for cash, and nor can be clubbed with any other offer(s) of SpiceJet.
9.The contact information you provide may be used by SpiceJet to send informational/promotional communication.
10.SpiceJet reserves the right to modify, alter, amend and/or change any and/or all of the terms and conditions, made applicable to the Initiative at any time without prior notice. SpiceJet also reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel the Initiative at any time without prior notice.
11.SpiceJet reserves the right to shortlist the participants through internal panel of judges. The panel’s decision shall be deemed to be final and binding without any accountability to any party/organization under this said Initiative or otherwise.
12.SpiceJet does not claim any copyright of the participation to the Initiative , or provide any warranty or representations regarding any underlying intellectual or ownership rights in and to the participation and/or user content being posted on its social media handles through this Initiative or otherwise.
13.The participant(s) is/are solely responsible for determining whether or not any third parties own, or have any claims to, or any rights in and to the participation and/or user content being posted on SpiceJet social media handles. The participant(s) shall indemnify SpiceJet against any third party claims and damages resulting therefrom.
14.SpiceJet takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any participation and /or user content posted, stored or uploaded by participant(s) or any third party, or for any loss or damage thereto, nor is SpiceJet liable for any mistakes, defamation, slander, libel, omissions, falsehoods, obscenity, pornography or profanity the Participant(s) may encounter under this Initiative or otherwise.
15.SpiceJet may claim perpetual right to license all participations and/or user content on its social media handles for advertising purposes or otherwise.
16.SpiceJet’s decision in respect of all matters relating to this Initiative shall be final and binding. SpiceJet reserves the right to use the data submitted by the Participants without any further consideration to such person(s) and/ or irrespective of them winning or not winning the said Initiative.
17.Any disputes arising out of this Initiative shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at New Delhi, India.
18.Any person participating in this Initiative or otherwise shall be deemed to have accepted the applicable terms and conditions.
