Barbeque Nation celebrates 10 year anniversary
11 Jan, 2016
Barbeque Nation, one of most successful casual dining restaurant chains in India, observed its 10th anniversary on 20th January. On this special day, customers can enjoy Barbeque Nation’s regular buffet menu at the same prices they would have paid in 2006.

Founded in 2006, Barbeque Nation was the pioneer to promote the concept of live on table grills – allowing customers to grill and enjoy their own barbeque’s right at their tables. A novelty at the time, customers and guests visiting Barbeque Nation in 2006 could customize their starters with their preference of flavours – ushering in the era of ‘Do It Yourself cuisine’ in India.

Right from the outset, Barbeque Nation was keen to cater to all tastes, and offered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus, drawn from Mediterranean, American, Oriental, Asian and the Indian cuisines. The unique ‘DIY’ (do-it-yourself) concept was appreciated by Indian food-lovers, propelling the casual dining chain on a rapid expansion spree. Barbeque Nation opened its landmark 25th outlet in 2012 in Bangalore, Karnataka and its 50th outlet it Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh 2015. Extending their ‘Do-It-Yourself’ principle to desserts, in 2015 Barbeque Nation started ‘Kulfi Nation’ counters within all their outlets. Customers were offered several interesting flavours of kulfi’s which they could customize with a variety of dips, sauces and toppings. Flavours ranged from the tried and tested Malai Kulfi to bold flavours like paan.

Barbeque Nation has grown from strength to strength and in 2015, the restaurant chain inaugurated its 50th outlet in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The chain appeals to the value conscious Indian consumer because it offers quality food – including prawns and exotic foreign foods – in an unlimited quantity, at a fixed price. Today, Barbeque Nation’s 63 outlets span the length and breadth of the country, from Guwahati to Surat, from Chandigarh to Chennai.

I called them up, the reservations for tables are like way too odd hours. Either 3:00 for lunch. 6:30 or 9:30 for dinner. I think lunch prices are 450 + taxes and dinner prices are 550+taxes.

Should have known earlier to reap the benefit of this offer https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif.

PS: This was for JP Nagar branch in Bangalore. Not sure about other places, but just guessed that situation might be similar.

guys, i have just called them only to get disappointed. the prices are not of 2006. back in 2010 only when i visited in Hyderabad, it was 350 all in. now, the offer is 450+tax for lunch and 550+tax for dinner. i dont think this is 2006 rate at all.

Are the rates same for Veg and Non-Veg? And what is the child policy at Barbeque Nation? Do they charge speparately for 2 year olds?

At my place Barbeque-Nation’s number is not working… Call is getting auto-disconnected after recorded welcome message saying “Welcome to Barbeque Nation, toooon tooooon toooon….”.
