Ezcast is based on Miracast(if i am not wrong) but chromecast is different.
Chromecast is limited to only few apps. While miracast based dongles allow you to literally stream anything. Basically miracast is the mirror display. What ever is displayed on ur mobile device will be displayed on thr tv.
I see miracast more useful than chromecast.

agree with u as chromecast support only few mobiles but miracast support every mobile running icecream sandwich & above.
