This seems to be the best deal for amazon right now. But the CB takes 90 days? Had the same thing with SBI and after 3 months SBI sent SMS saying CB received but it did not sow up in bank account.

HDFC cashback is only received if you receive sms on registered mobile number about usage of card & additional RP which will be credited after 90 days .
Once this sms comes after 2/3 days of transaction you will guaranteed get the extra cashback . Have been using the 10x extra RP on flipkart and amazon from long & have always get the extra RP without any calls or emails .
Once you are redirected from smartbuy site do not change the page/tab till you finish the transaction
I got note 6 pro and cashback came this month in RP.. But real patience needed.. Next month another transaction.. Let’s see when it comes..

This offer is there for more than 1 year now. Suddenly why it became so hot?
HDFC initially they did not have any exclusions like gold coins. That time I had ordered a gold coin. Unfortunately I did not take screenshot of their terms and conditions.
But as usual HDFC changed their terms and conditions much later. So I guess that is why I did not receive cashback.
But for my order (non gold) in November I got cashback last week

Sorry bro, I responded to your query in different context. This 10% cashback offer is specifically for Amazon. Usual Smartbuy 10x rewards / 10% cashback apply for Flipkart too.
Not sure if this even works or not. Never got any cashback from smartbuy.
payback did the same thing with me, for small amounts it would track and when I started making buy buys the tracking did not work. The small buys ended up giving like rs500 in a few years which is why I kept using them. But the buys that would give rs500 in a single buy never showed up. Yea bugs in the system.. More like on purpose..
Never buy anything because of cash backs and such things unless it is proven like amazon CB always happen even if it takes time but HDFC etc never happens because they ask you to prove it which means keeping track and screen shots and such and they change T&C and conditions and they have so many that even now depending on which page you go to, the T&C are different.. They always have an excuse and you spend a LOT of time and maybe you get CB but the effort required is immense.
Here the T&C says no minimum and no maximum.. Only a max CB of 1000.. Other places it says min 1000.. How to prove which applies to you? Make a video???
Someone did a research on getting points when booking flights.. The card companies buy these points cheap knowing vast majority like 90% never gets used and they can expire them easily.. and there are so many T&C that you can never use them all. And even when you can, you can find much better deals looking than going by how many points you get. Which is like saying, well HDFC payzapp gives 10% if you can use it.. But its only 250.. While HDFC smartbuy gives 1000+1000.. So get a sure 250 or go for 2000… Well depending on if you are buying something like for 10K, go for the sure 250.. trying to get a maybe 1000.. Well good luck.. Always buy something because you need it and its a good buy not because the rewards make it a good buy.. As that ends up as a good buy only if you actually can get and use that reward.

My personal experience with Smartbuy has been pretty good. I have used it 5 times till now and I have got the cash back for 3 times already (it hasn’t been 90 days since the last two).
The ones I got the cash back, two from Flipkart, and one from Amazon. And these were orders when there were already instant cash back offers on Amazon and Flipkart, so this was on top of that. Win-win!
