That’s strange. Check the spam/junk folder in your mailbox. It’s best to get a written confirmation from your IDFC RM (relationship manager) to be sure.
I checked my mailbox but no luck..
Anyways I called the toll free no. and they said the offer is applicable to all those who are holding visa signature debit card (irrespective whether you get the mail or not)so i believe its applicable to me as well..
Thanks a lot @DealSeeker for your reply

Good to hear that.
This was my gut feeling, however, the T&Cs do mention that the offer is applicable only for those who received the mailer. And since people would be playing with large sums of money here, I did not want to even accidentally misguide anybody with half-sure answers.
On that note, I would still recommend you to get an email from your RM as you did not receive the mailer, despite being an existing customer.

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I will check with my RM.
Even I was thinking of opening an account with them for a long now. Do I get an Insta Debit card at time of account opeinig? O r I need to wait few more days to get one.

They open the account immediately when they visit your home if you do Aadhaar verification. However, you will have to wait a few days after funding the account to receive the debit card as it’s a Visa Signature card with your name printed on it.
Before, you ask, I funded the account via an NEFT transfer after it was opened.
How many days exactly it took to get the card delivered?

They shipped via BlueDart Priority overnight. Reached me the next day from their Mumbai HQ to Bangalore.
But I opened the account via normal identification documents (no Aadhaar) so it took them 3-4 days just to open my account. Then it took them about 2-days after I funded the account to ship the welcome kit (debit card + cheque book). In total, about 10 days for my non-Aadhaar account.
If you verify via Aadhaar, you’d save on the main chunk of time and you should receive the welcome kit within 3-4 days of the home visit. Also, it’d be a good idea to keep in touch with your RM if you really want everything to happen in an expedited way. I was in no real hurry for my account. CC @samisam093

No. It’s explicitly mentioned in the T&Cs that the offer is for Visa Signature cardholders. Are you opening a BSBD account — the one which is available for semi-urban and rural areas? CC @samisam093

I would assume that to be the case. Did you receive debit card from any bank without funding the account?
I hope you are not trolling as it’s not like you can spend via the debit card without having any money in the account.

All zero balance accounts have that feature.
Anyways, how much min. we have to fund?

It’s not a zero-balance account. 25K. Read the “My Comments” section in the following post for all the details: https://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...
By the way, I did open a Kotak zero-balance account (Jifi) recently and they did not even activate the account, let alone dispatch the debit card, until I funded the account.
