4. Incremental Reward Points will be posted in the next statement from the statement cycle of transaction, except for Lifestyle , SmartBuy which will be posted within 90 days of the transaction month.
5. SmartBuy Offer is applicable only for Flight and Hotel Bookings. Also customer has to continue as a guest to avail the offer.

How to get this credit card for free? THAT is d question 
I got it for free 3 yrs back ! There are 2 options always, we can go with
- joining fee of 1000 rs and 1000 bonus reward points(750 rs worth for rewards card) ordered
- no joining fee, no joining bonus points
You need to convince them for option 2

Offer validity was till 31 oct 17 earlier till yesterday morning, by evening they updated it till 31 july.
Anyways it is effective of 75K worth of spending everymonth on Amazon which would give around 33% discount on Diner’s black. Got the black card 8 days bavk..
Used it on flipkart to buy 3 ACs, and lifestyle shopping of wrist watches worth 50k..

There is uprgade option available but it says you dont eleigible for any card.

I think ICICI has the best rewards tracking. The monthly statement has a column for reward points and they are mentioned against each transaction.
I spoke to HDFC CC and he mentioned that they give 1x points in the current cycle and the additional 9x points in subsequent cycle. Ruined my entire spread sheet. Further, the multitude of offers means that verification of rewards is very difficult. He did say that you can call the CC and check wherever you have a doubt. Not really a viable option.
It’s all good but redemption fee of Rs 75 per redemption dents the rewards for recharge or movie tickets. Only good for hotel and air line booking.

Using this card for more than 3 years. Previously they used to give 10x points with no limits. Still have more than 100k points, Never paid a single penny till now for my 3 DTH recharges & also booked flights without any issues. Best card it was. Sad they put limit on the points earning.
there is always a 75/- + Taxes for redemption of points for DTH recharges. The charges are charged in bill after the transaction is complete, after few days!!
How you were getting free??? I am always charged…thats why I did annual packs only!!

Why are you after Smartbuy? What benefits it has? I mean i never availed/used Smartbuy option. For me earlier there was only FK and Goibibo, beyond which all 10X benefits end for me.
Now its Amazon and nothing beyond it. Thats how i look at it.
Reason for above approach – I hold a Rewards card and with a cap on 10X reward pts per month, I know I can make limited use of the offer. So earlier it was 12500 max spends needed to get 2500 pts and now its only 10000 spends needed to get max 2000 points.
So Amazon is enough for me. 10K per month target on HDFC Diners Rewards. 
Noob question which is the best cc to get other than diners black ? SBI Air India signature used to be one of the best ones for travel but I guess it was devalued. Any other cars which gives reward miles or points with no cap ?

Gross per month Salary of ₹60000 or more is required for Diners Premium (Some CC guy would tell you 65K) For your other queries
I am using diner black from last 2 year. They are decreasing the benefits day by day. There was a time when there was no monthly limits to earn 10X points.

I am stuck with something and need expert opinions here. I was thinking of buying Moto G5 from Amazon but I am not able to find a way to avail both HDFC 10X offer plus Prime 100 back offer.
T&c for 10x has clearly mentioned that it will not consider wallet refilling as a transaction. If Amazon Pay falls in this category or not, no one knows for sure and these fool CC people know nothing. And, yes even if we buy GC then 1000 cashback will not be applied as we have to put money in amz pay.
How can I do this transaction and avail both the benefits? Or, there is no way?
Just but amazon gift vouchers and load your amazon pay wallet and purchase the mobile. Simple!
