I would stay away from 1&1 Registrar. They have a reputation of deleting domains. Plus the 2nd year renewal will be very high.
You can transfer the domain to new registrar next year.

These foreign registrar companies try to renew automatically if we give them our card details. Go for it only netbanking or VCC (WHERE YOU can set the limit) works..
Before buying check renewal price. Or u will be doomed at the end of the yr.
