What’s the annual fee for AMEX card?
It depends which card you are applying. For amex mrcc first year free as of now. Second year onwards 4500 + taxes. Fee waived if spent 150000 in a year. 50 % fee waived if spent 90000 in a year. For platinum travel card fee is 3500 + taxes for 1st year. Second year onwards 5000 +taxes. Tax rate is 18%. If you apply through someone’s referral you will some extra benefit from amex as well as from whom you are getting referred. Many persons are willing to share their benefits including me 
For platinum card 60000 +taxes i.e 72000 in a year.

It is free if you spend 150000 in a year. N dont judge any thing only on basis of its price. Which is more beneficial- one giving rs 1000 benefits without any cost or second one giving rs 4000 benfits with cost of rs 1000 -just giving an example.
I do not think any one having amex card is unhappy with them. I am having 2 amex card. In one card fee is 5000 +taxes i. E 5900. Other i am not paying anything. And believe me i do not regret having amex.

Received similar offer on Jet/Intermiles Amex Card (16 Miles for every 150 spent). Usual earn rate on the Jet card is 8 miles for Rs 150 but insurance is excluded. But this is specifically targeted for Insurance. I still had the card since was a Jet Plat before Jet disappeared. I have the screenshot but not sure how to add it since am kinda new.

Yes. It doesnt say anything about the time of enrollment. Its all to do with txn date.

Amex Customer Care said first criteria for the offer is card should be at least 6 month old.
To confirm eligibility, simply call to customer care and they are giving confirmation that it is applicable or not.

DO NOT, I mean DO NOT pay if you have not received the email. Confirmed with CC this offer eventhough allows you to register the card, it is not considered as eligibility. Only if the card holder receives communication then they are eligible.
