Waiver of annual fee in amex is always there if you pay dues ontime, my renewal fee always waived off every year within 2 days after calling and requesting them.

It’s improving and in metro cities, it’s almost everywhere. In non-metro cities, big chains like Big Bazaar, More etc. accept. AFAIK all Pine Labs POS terminals accept Amex.
They have stopped this card, i applied for this but they said to me we are not issuing this anymore
