so why all people are buying this if it is for special need people ? can we too consume it if no side effect with normal milk , bcoz here normal milk is even costlier (50rs/litre) than this . so for a normal person is it same or better ?

All are buying this as if it is a health drink. Lactose free milk is meant for Lactose intolerant people. It has an enzyme added to it that makes it possible for such people to digest it. It tastes sweeter than regular milk because the lactose in it is broken down to simple sugars by the added enzyme. Normal people using this is like normal people using glucose instead of regular sugar (sucrose)! Very amusing to see so many people queuing up to buy…

Ok dimers , bascially lactase enzyme is add here to normal milk
Enzyme digest/breaks lactose to form digestable sugar , it will be sweeter than normal milk4 sure

U cn do this at home by add lactaid tablet to milk.(it will take time).
Main problem will be get the tablet

Bro, the title says it all…I dnt know why others are looting it or buying it..It is lactose free and only for lactose intolerant people. There is no harm in trying it but it is not needed for those who r able to consume regular milk without any problems.
This is usually costlier than regular milk, I suggested cos the price was very low and even lower than regular milk.

today i came to know so many dimers are even not able to digest normal sugar , now they needed this milk to fulfill milk demand , 1-3 qty might be ok for try but looting it even normal price (in comparison to regular milk) is really showing their investment strategy is worth 0rs or those are re-sellers . in both case elder ppl and needed ppl missed it .

For all those people who reside in Bangalore who have ordered and do not need this, please pm me on where I can pick it up. I’m lactose intollerant and its very difficult to get it. It remains in stock only 4 to 5 days in a month in Amazon. And I cannot get more than 5. Earlier Grofers used to sell this, and now even they have stopped. So its very difficult to source this. So request for people who bought and it and do not plan to use, let me know so that I will pay you and pick it up.

Back in US I used to get lactose free Ice cream, and one whole section of groceries for lactose intollerant people. But its very difficult to survive in Bangalore itself, I do not know for rest of the places. And if people loot like this, it would become difficult for people like me to get lactose free milk.
