Hi,
For all those people who reside in Bangalore who have ordered and do not need this, please pm me on where I can pick it up. I’m lactose intollerant and its very difficult to get it. It remains in stock only 4 to 5 days in a month in Amazon. And I cannot get more than 5. Earlier Grofers used to sell this, and now even they have stopped. So its very difficult to source this. So request for people who bought and it and do not plan to use, let me know so that I will pay you and pick it up.
Back in US I used to get lactose free Ice cream, and one whole section of groceries for lactose intollerant people. But its very difficult to survive in Bangalore itself, I do not know for rest of the places. And if people loot like this, it would become difficult for people like me to get lactose free milk.
It’s available on BigBasket @ Rs 22 for 250 ml.
i ordered and then thought it is useless… so cancelled:oops:

Did you look up the Amul distributor in your area?

US walo ko b discount chahiye!!!
T- even NRI needs discount.
That’s not funny. If someone is unable to consume regular milk and is able to get lactose free milk cheaper than MRP, what’s wrong with that? How does NRI or RI matter? Moreover, he has clearly said he is unable to get this product! Discount is secondary.
If he need that product he can normally ask for that and express that he want it because he is unable to digest lactose…
Wts the point in mentioning situation in US? Jyada ameer h to mrp pe buy kre.

Bought only 1 just to try.
P.s.: one review says you can’t make tea-coffee using this..
Didn’t bought more for this reason..seems like this product is for those who have problem in digesting milk or milk products.
It’s for people who are allergic to lactose . Sad that dimers looting deals made for people who have lactose intolerance . Grow up kids on the forums . It’s for those who really need it, not to taste and try it cc @DealSeeker

“Survive in Bangalore” ?? What are you… a vampire who lives solely on milk…. Stop consuming dairy products if you are lactose intolerant ffs.
Human beings aren’t supposed to drink milk past their baby stage…. hence everyone naturally becomes lactose intolerant to some degree as an adult. Its only recently that we’ve started evolving to develop lactose tolerance through our adult lives. Civilization ruined the lives of cows by starting milking them even for us adults…and now we demand more for lactose free milk Sad that 2012 wasn’t true
@freekachandan I’m not sure you read what I mentioned. I’m not able to get at MRP itself. I never said I need at deal price. Also the fact that I said that its hardly in stock shows that there are many more people in India who are in same situation. I was an NRI many years ago, not anymore. Just because I mentioned what is available in US does not mean that I become NRI.
The reason why I mentioned that I will pick it up from people who do not want is because others will benefit from me not buying. If I pick it up from others in Bangalore I will end up spending more money on fuel rather than on milk.
@enapster Thanks for understanding my situation and people who have lactose intolerance.

This is not something meant for you and me . I have had a friend who was lactose intolerant and as we were part of a group visiting Germany for a cultural exchange programme I realised how tough it becomes sometimes . Due to not being able to have any milk products she would rather stay hungry sometimes since maybe they prepared cheese pasta and other stuff which she couldn’t have . Its made for a class of people not for you and me so I feel let those who really need it enjoy and let dimers stay away from these deals .
