VU just 1 question can this be used only for head hair or can be used as body groomer like Philips bodygroom

Good deal, the price has been so for quite some time on Flipkart. VU

This is a Hair Clipper & generally used to cut longer hair which is mostly on the head. Can be used as a Trimmer to trim Beard & cut body hair too.

Philips bodygroomer has a shaving option also which is not there in this.

For hair cutting jobs, if one is keeping a bit longer hair, a help from someone to use clippers on your head is required. If keeping small hair, its just drop of a hat job.

For Hair clipping jobs, one has to see what kind of length one intends to keep. The combs supplied in the kit are mostly till 1". Any longer & one has to buy additional sizes. Max could be 1.1/5".

Im presently using Wahl Clippers & the clipper & service is above par. Andis is also a good company.

Only one thing goes against it, it’s corded. Andis products are quite good and built to last.:-D

That actually does not do against the Clipper because these are high power devices & Battery backup is in-sufficient at times. The Re-chargeable units have not been very successful in the Clipper space. Rechargeable Trimmers is another ball-game.

Actually it also depends upon personal preference. I am sure there are many people who will prefer corded trimmers/shavers/clippers over cordless ones because with a corded one there is no hassle of replacing the batteries again and again.
Also, as desu pointed out, this trimmer has a high power motor for which ordinary batteries may not be sufficient.

Again double the price. World over the rechargeable clippers haven’t been so successful because the Power hungry high power motors sap up the energy in no time.

Even Wahl has a couple of rechargeable clippers but the ratings of those are not high. A model costs ~1800/-. Still I would recommend a corded clipper. While Im using 3 cordless hair TRIMMERS. Trimmers use less power & are decent performers.
