You’ve to carry external HDD, no other option.

Or you can buy cloud storage.

1. Storage issues. Have to carry external HDD everywhere with it and keep shifting downloaded files.
2. Display is not just bad, its pathetic. The quality is really bad. Its just HD+. Not retina. I can literally see the display pixelating sometimes.
3. Apple’s crappy service – Post warranty of 1 year, even your device has any issue, prepare to spend a mammoth for spare parts. And that too when Apple agrees to repair your device. They many times reject your device from servicing.

Good parts:
1. Battery life is good. Surfing, movies etc 8-9 hours.
2. Apple logo lights up.
That’s it. No other pros as such.

So if you’re looking only for presentation purpose, go ahead. My mind killed me for buying it even for 50k. For 70k, I’ll literally have to transplant my mind with some crap before buying this laptop. I can get so much better laptop at this price point. Nowadays, many laptops are light weight, so Apple’s light weight USP is gone.

But yeah, it was the last laptop with LED lighting logo. stuck_out_tongue

Bro its Apple . People don’t buy it for Rs 30000 worth specs but for the brand value.
Its a never ending debate on Apple is best or worst but now under 1 lakh rupees, its the only option to own a Apple Laptop.

See that’s the thing bro. For electronics, service value matters to me more than brand value.

I don’t want to give my money to someone who will just sell me a good looking laptop but won’t provide reasonable service later on. I literally have no interest in filling Apple’s wallets just like that.

But if your budget is 1 lakh and you need Apple only, then spend 4k more and get latest version of MacBook Air.

Or get MacBook Pro 2017 or 2018 without touch bar.

But, like you said, even after buying latest mac or MacBook Pro 2017 or 2018 after 1 year no free service and as usual difficult to find service/accept our device for service right ?

True. But I also said “if you need Apple only, then”

Infact, newer MacBooks have more problems. Start with their butterfly keyboards. Almost every new MacBook, be it MacBook Pro 2017 or 2018, has got some issues with the buggy keyboard. Infact, the issue is so widespread that Apple has also started replacement of keyboards for free for 2018 MBP models only.

Otherwise those who got 2017 or other models, just the keyboard replacement costs 16k + service charge once the warranty is over.
