I guess they will also check your annual ctc as well for issuing this card apart from your cibil.
Mine is stuck at document verification although the kyc person has come 3 times in the last 2 months anybody knows the resolution to this

Open an FD with ICICI bank for 10000 and get a ICICI card hand to hand and use its number to sign up.
You mean if one opens an FD of 10000, he will get a credit card…and with the same reference, he can get Amazon ICICI card? Can a school teacher get this card in this way?
I had one and closed . After they charged lot of money due to late payment just by 3 days. Other bank reverse the charges. But they will not reverse. Better no one take their card
Have you tried contacting customer care to reverse late payment charges? Mine was reversed immediately in next billing

I had applied a few days earlier and received it in 3-4 days. I did not have a ICICI account or card earlier. They did not ask for my salary slips. Identity documents was all that was required. But the limit they gave me is paltry Rs 45000 whereas I have other bank cards where I have limits of approx 5-6 lakhs on each card. Maybe this is their default limit or something.

if you are existing icici bank customer than it will be auto approved.if not then he will come and take biometric and see ur aadhar card.
ICICI sat over my application for over 2 months and first said card not approved due to unverified address and then finally rejected because I don’t file IT returns. They could have clearly mentioned this requirement right at the start of the application. Amazon said they’ve nothing to do with the card. Total waste of time and efforts.

The card is amazing. on an average cart, 5 % cashback on top of normal offers is quite decent. Biggest advantage is reward point redemption in the form of Amazon Pay Balance. I am getting monthly rewards of 800-1000 rupees with an average shopping per month,
