As per Fortune’s official website. They do have a 1 litre Jar.
Am surprised that “Olympia industries” with 4.7 ratings can fool customers like this
tell me whether shold cancel or this oil is good for health, in this price
2L MRP is 300rs. – http://www.amazon.in/Fortune-Vivo-2L/dp/B01GUY9...
1L MRP is also 300rs. – http://www.amazon.in/Fortune-Vivo-1L/dp/B01GUY9...
Height of fooling customers..
To be available in packs of 1 litre and 5 litre jar, Vivo is priced on the higher side between Rs 130 and Rs 135 per litre.
Canola oil is good but priced much higher than Rice bran oil. I use only Rice bran oil for daily cooking. (rs 79/ 85 1 litre pouch )
Olive oil (extra virgin) is using only for dribbling on salad. For cooking pasta / italian dishes use cheaper pomace olive oil. Gingely oil for idli karam podi/ dosa or rice with vatral / kara kozambu & also use while cooking chinese dishes.
coconut oil only for kerala style curries.
mustard oil use occassionally for cooking benagali/ bihari kind of curries . Ghee use any time if feel like . palmolein use in a combo for fryng vadam/ chips/ frech fries / pakoda /bajji etc
+36Kg
use different oils for different types of food.
Rice bran oil (next best to olive and equal to Canola) for normal daiy cooking)
but have all the oils in stock.(Ghee/ butter/ extra virgin oliveoil/ pomace olive oil/ gingelly oil/ coconut oil/ mustard oil /palmolein oil …..
note that rice bran oil has no flavour. (similar to sun flower oil )
where as coconut/ mustard/ gingely / even olive oils have strong peculiar flavour / armoa .
so suitable only for specific dishes .
for regular cooking odourless oil sunflower/ rice bran /canola are similar in taste & look . but rice bran is healthy & cheaper

Smoke point of various oils. The higher the smoke point, it is better for deep frying.

Ahmedabad High court calls out- says Vivo Diabetes oil claim…. misleading….
Fortune Vivo oil meets its inevitable sticky end
Vivo was a ‘revolutionary’ cooking oil until regulators called the oil major Adani Wilmar’s bluff. The developing legal fight could well be the tipping point for an industry, which has so far gotten away with lofty claims………………….

Be aware that no oil company makes one liter jar (as shown in picture) and no oil in India is Rs 300 per litre (except olive oil)
