No I am not a podcaster or a youtuber. My cousin is aspiring to be a singer, so she and her tutor decided to record songs on a regular basis. She was asking me to buy this one (she had done all the basic research of these stuff) and I had even planned to get it from US (the price was cheaper there even when after paying for customs and shipping- it was some $130 at that time). Luckily I stumbled upon this “international app deal” amazon was running in the last minute and bought.

By the way after using this I realised why this thing was so costly. They have this one mode in which it doesn’t almost pick any sound except for the sound coming from right in front of it and has good voice cancellation.

It was Rs. 14500 last month in Amazon.

EDIT: I see it. International app deal offer. Never heard of it. I checked Amazon US and was about to order, but it wasn’t shipping to my address. So had to choose iBhejo. Paid 12k.

I guess you had not checked other colours. The silver one was not shipping to India but the space gray was shipping to India and was $99 for a day. This was on sale on April 25th and the exact price was Rs.8749 (I had like 6k in my amazon and had bought remaining GCs using those discount codes so it was around 8500 for me or even less considering those 7.5% off codes with which I had bought those 6k GCs).

My mistake. Should have asked here. Wasn’t aware of such offers.

I ordered on / around April 18-19th via iBhejo.

The cost in Amazon US was less but other variants had customs – Rs. 3500 from what I remember. So eventually, it was nothing special. Had no option, so had to choose iBhejo (who took 10 days to deliver. Bummer.)

Here’s the exact total:

Discount: Rs. 1,971

Plus, 4.5% cashback through cb sites.

Apparently, AT2020 Audiotechnica was my choice. It wasn’t available at that time. Didn’t order pop filter yet, now that you have mentioned it – I should probably save some money here.

The blue mics are awesome. I have the blue snowball for 5 years now. No problems at all
