Most wifi routers these days have a USB port and support setup of wireless printer functionality for any printer, even if it does not have wireless printing capability built in.

As the life of inkjet printers is generally quite less I wouldn’t suggest anyone to invest so much on these wireless printers, rather get a basic inkjet printer and setup wireless printing using the UB port of your wifi router. This is what I setup in my office too for our laser jet printer.

I am not comparing Deskjet Vs. Laser jet here, kindly read my comment once again. I am comparing between getting a printer with wireless functionality built within vs. Using the USB port of a wifi router for any general router to get the same functionality.

The reference to laser jet printer was just an example of the setup I have.
