Offer applicable on payments made on the Paytm app and website.
Example – Purchasing an item from Paytm Marketplace, purchasing deals, recharges, Paying your utility bills, booking flight tickets etc.
Offer not applicable if you add money to wallet or savings account, send money to friends, scan QR code and pay through upi on any Paytm accepting merchants.
Offer not applicable on payments made on third party platforms using paytm upi address.
Offer starts at 12 am on 22nd December, 2017. Offer is valid till 5th January, 2018
Cashback will be processed within 72 hours of completing the transaction. It will be credited to your Paytm wallet.

I proceeded for recharge for Rs.30 after selecting coupons, however it skipped the payment page and automatically processed the order deducting from my wallet without any cashback 
. happening on app as well as website
Is paytm doing it intentionally so as wallet amount gets burned up as soon as possible ?
i don’t like to get Free Rs 30 Recharge and You paid Rs 30 paytm cash

Dont know about that but just tried with an recharge amount > wallet balance and then only it is taking to the payment options screen where i can see the offer and the payment options.
If recharge amount < wallet balance, it bypasses the payment options screen and processing the order. Luckily, i could cancel this when i tried because paytm throws error that operator does not accept recharges in succession within 15 minutes .
No option in iOS very sad

UPI Feature is not available in the iOS App as yet
if i do recharge of rs 30 using upi , will i get 30 rs back?
im trying to recharge and pay through upi. have almost tried 10 times but the txn is always failing in accepting upi payment . Dont know whether its intentional or not. Because im able to use my paytm upi elsewhere with ease.
I had filed support tickets for this and finally got a call from Paytm regarding this issue.
When i explained to them what was happening, they said “The app/website is designed such that if wallet balance is there, it will be deducted first”
To which i encountered : “This way i cannot pay via UPI till i consume my wallet balance at a stage where it becomes insifficient to do transactions ?”
The paytm executive said he will discuss this issue with the team and update me. !!
And now im checking the payment options screen, paytm has removed the UPI option itself from the payments page !!!
