Bro, they have already mentioned the precautions for the card (i.e. masking the middle part of the card number and its expiry). As for the precautions for the ID proof, you can include a watermark saying “For GCI ID verification” on the non-essential part of the scanned ID proof, i.e. anywhere on the ID except for the area containing essential info like the ID number, your name, etc.

Please do tell GCI customer support in advance that you are going to include a watermark on the scanned ID proof as a precautionary measure to avoid misuse of the ID proof.

I don’t think they’ll run away.. I bet there will me many dimers who have purchased 50k+ cards. Their turnover for the day should be in a few crores ( I bet there are a lot many more ppl out there than on dd )

Rough calculations, Their sales were INR ~5.5CR in 2012. Given the increase in online spending and knowledge since then, and factoring that this is first real discount by GCI this year.

Real question is who’d care for a measly 50k when you are ready to spend 10l
