But it has an auto timer and if the surface of cooking vessel makes full contact with the induction heater, it shouldn’t take much time to cook. It does save energy by efficiently transferring the heat. No matter what equipment you use to cook, either gas or electricity, the amount of joules taken to cook remains the same. Only thing is who accomplishes that with more efficiency.
Personal experiences with the induction cooktops awaited.

All non stick cookware compatible with induction cooktops
or we have to buy induction compatible cookware separately

Very good doubt my friend,
Vary with products, mainly three types alloy, steel(2 types) and another type (I forgot the name).
Please don’t buy the bowl sets blindly… refer your induction cooktop guide and see which material should be down of the vessel and proceed with your buying.
Cheers.

The simple test:
If a magnet sticks to the vessel/cookware, it will work with induction cookers. (It preferably should be flat bottomed).
It has nothing to do whether it is non-stock or not.
Some one plz post the pics of actual product and the freebies. Thanks
Got mine.. Simply Awesome !!

Jyotisankar.. You have to remove the SILVER cover, by picking it up from one end.
It’s a bit tricky.. it took me almost 5 minutes to find it
@ smartfriend85 – Thanks, i could do it now. I was forcibly putting all the baterries inside the blue chamber itself
The user guide for the Induction Coocker does not have much info. I mean, I could power it on but, not sure how t set appropriate temparature and the timer setup.

Thanks bro for sharing
Great work… Smartfriend85
I am from pune.
When the courier guy came he asked me for Rs.137 as octroi.
I was doubtful , i asked for the original octroi receipt.
But he game me a photostat one.
Still i was doubtful, but as the amount was LESS i neglected it and got the change Rs.137 rupees.
I gave him CASH in his hand and asked him to give me the number of this office, i want to speak with them right away.
He said i will connect from my mobile and said let me speak to them first.
He spoke on phone : sir iska photostat copy hai inse octroi lena hai ki nahi ?
I was shocked, why he is asking “octroi lena hai ki nahi”.
Then he returned me the Rs.137 rupees. He gave some lame explanations and returned the money.
I asked him give me the number of your office then he gave me the number.
After a while i called the number which he gave me :-
ME:Regarding courier delivery , i feel the photocopy receipt which your person gave me is FAKE. Letsbuy had sent it to me.
OFFICE : If there is balance in the courier sender’s account we bill it to him otherwise charge it to the customer.
ME: Confused. The Amount mentioned on the receipt was 3 Times more than the original amount.
OFFICE : i will check it out and revert back.
ME : I will wait for you call then proceed with the further action.
ALWAYS TAKE THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT OF THE OCTROI PAID and CROSS CHECK THE AMOUNT
Amount mentioned in the receipt was Rs.4500
Out of 10.
Comparision with TCH 2029A
1: Performance : TCL-6.5/////GLEN- 5
2: Price : TCL-8 //GLEN
6complete set- 83: Freebies: TCL -only one glass lid with pan vessel-Rating -4//GLEN
Service centres for TCL and Glen are low and that too private partners for both depending on their locations
4: Easy of usage is very same in glen and TCL.
As i know low priced Induction cooktops , if anyone is willing to put more than 4000 rps , they can prefer Morphy richards or Pigeon 2.0 model, which is having no cons, except service centre issues.
Dont worry about freebies and vessels, you will get it for 600 in the local market of complete set.
I didnt saw any complaints or cons of low cost TCL Induction cooktop- 2029A….
