CASHLESS DAYS CONTEST
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The ‘Cashless Days’ contest (“Contest”) is made available to you by Amazon Pay (India) Private Limited (“Amazon”) on the website www.ama...in and the mobile site and mobile application thereof (collectively “Amazon.in”).

Please read these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) before entering into this Contest. You agree that, by participating in this Contest, you will be bound by these T&Cs and you acknowledge that you satisfy all eligibility requirements for the Contest, as provided herein below.

These T&Cs are in addition to the Amazon.in Conditions of Use and the Privacy Notice to which you agree by using Amazon.in. To the extent the Amazon.in Conditions of Use are inconsistent with these T&Cs; these T&Cs will prevail with respect to the Contest only.

For the purposes of these T&Cs, wherever the context so requires, “You” or “Your” shall mean any natural person who is a participant in the Contest; and “We” or “Our” shall mean Amazon.
ELIGIBILITY:
You need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to enter into the Contest:
(i) you should be an individual legal resident of the Republic of India;
(ii) you should have set India as your current country in your account settings on Amazon.in;
(iii) your billing and delivery addresses should be within the territory of India; and
(iv) you should be of an age 18 years or above at the time of entry into the Contest.

Residents of the State of Tamil Nadu are not eligible to enter or participate in this Contest, since this Contest is prohibited in the state of Tamil Nadu under Tamil Nadu Prize Schemes (Prohibition) Act, 1979.

Our employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and our affiliates, advisors, advertising/contest agencies are not eligible to enter the Contest.

DETAILS OF THE CONTEST AND HOW TO ENTER:
This Contest will be made available only for one (1) day on February 20, 2018 (“Contest Period”).

In order to be eligible for the Contest, during the Contest Period you must:(a) purchase any product(s) on Amazon.in (each a “Product”) except for the excluded / ineligible products listed below, provided that your order for the Product(s) should not have been cancelled, returned or rejected (at any time) by either you, the concerned seller or Amazon Seller Services Private Limited; and(b) make the payment on Amazon.in for the Product using any electronic payment method, including debit card, credit card, net banking, Amazon Pay Balance and EMI. For the avoidance doubt, it is clarified that in the event you select to pay using ‘cash on delivery’ payment method for the Product, you will not be eligible for this Contest.In relation to clause (a) above, it is clarified that Products do not include: Amazon.in Gift Cards, Amazon Pay Balance, Prepaid Phone Recharges, Kindle e-books and Kindle unlimited subscription program, gold coins, RBL bank cards, bank cards (such as RBL and ticket compliments GCs), Amazon Prime membership, precious jewellery or Samsung mobile and tablet devices (except Samsung Galaxy On5 Pro and Samsung Galaxy On7 Pro). In other words, you will not be eligible for this Contest on purchase of such excluded products. In the event your order/purchase consists of any aforesaid excluded product(s), you will not be eligible for this Contest in respect of such order/purchase transaction, regardless of your purchase of Products in the same transaction. At the end of the Contest Period, amongst all participants who satisfy the eligibility criteria provided herein and undertake the actions stated in Section 2 (under ‘Details of the Contest and How to Enter’) above in accordance with these T&Cs, twenty-five (25) participants will be selected by a random draw of lots to be eligible to answer the qualifying question for the Contest, which they will receive from Amazon, through an email or phone call. Subject to these T&Cs, each of the selected participants who answer the question correctly and within the stipulated time period, will be eligible to receive INR 10,000 of Amazon Pay Balance (“Prize”), which will be provided in the form of equivalent amount of Amazon.in Gift Cards issued by QwikCilver Solutions Private Limited (“Gift Cards”). Each participant will be eligible to receive only one (1) Prize under this Contest upon answering the Contest question correctly. It is clarified that only twenty-five (25) Prizes will be given under this Contest.

By entering this Contest, you consent to being placed on a mailing list for promotional and other materials for Amazon. You may update or change your email preferences at the email preferences page.

OTHER CONTESTS:
Please note that we may be running similar contests or promotions at the same time as the Contest. By entering into this Contest, you will not be eligible to receive any benefit and/or prize awarded in the other contest or any other promotion/ contest, unless you enter each promotion/ contest separately.
PRIZES:

There are a total of twenty-five (25) Prizes that will be given under this Contest. The Prize will be given to the winners, provided the qualifying question is answered correctly, on or before March 16, 2018 by Amazon as Gift Cards of an amount worth INR 10,000. You acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms and conditions applicable to the Prize, including without limitation to the Amazon.in Gift Card Terms and Conditions, available at: https://www.amazon.in/gp/help/customer/display..... For the avoidance of doubt, Amazon Pay Balance comprises of the sum of all balances associated with Gift Cards in the Amazon.in account.

ODDS OF WINNING:
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Eligible entries are ones that satisfy the eligibility criteria outlined above and follow the steps outlined in the “Details of the Contest and the How to Enter” section above.
PRIZE DRAWING:

The drawing for selection of the participants will be aggregated by March 9, 2018. Amazon will notify the selected participants by e-mail following the draw, and they will be required to share a valid proof of identity and age in the form of a copy of PAN Card / Driving License / Voter ID / Indian passport. The selected participants will automatically forfeit their claim to the Prize if they do not meet the eligibility criteria or do not comply with these T&Cs. Each Prize will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). There are no cash or other prize alternatives available in whole or in part. However, in circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater value in our sole discretion. If applicable, in the event any selected participant does not respond back to any communication(s) sent in relation to any of the Contest within the time period communicated by Amazon, or answers the Contest question incorrectly, he/she shall not be eligible to be declared a winner or to receive the Prize. The selected participant will also be required to prove his/her age, failing which he/she will be disqualified from the Contest.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT:
The names of the winners of this Contest will be announced on Amazon.in by March 9, 2018, in accordance with these T&Cs.
