Citibank N.A. (“Citibank”) and Goibibo are launching an Offer (hereinafter referred to as “Offer”) for the Term.
Details of the Offer extended to all individuals who are holders of valid Citibank Credit and Debit Cards issued in
India (hereinafter referred to “Customer”) are detailed herein below. However, the Offer is not valid on Citibank
Corporate Cards,
Domestic Flights: INR 1250 cashback for a minimum booking value of INR 7500
International Flight: INR 2500 cashback for a minimum booking value of INR 25000
Hotels offer:
Goibibo Offer: Flat 60% instant saving up to a maximum of INR 2700
Citi Offer: Additional 30% cashback up to a maximum cashback of INR 1300
Cash back could be credited to the customer card account for eligible transactions on or before 30th June, 2016 on a best effort basis. The time line provided for effecting credit is only indicative of expected period and may vary from the actual date of credit

How to get this deal
- Click here to go to GoIbibo.
- Search flights or hotels on the goibibo app
- Select flight or hotel of your choice and proceed to booking
- To avail the offer Customer need to enter coupon code CITIGO before payment. If coupon code is not entered correctly then customer will not receive any cashback.
- Enjoy booking and happy travelling!
Terms & Conditions
- The offer is valid on transactions done on Goibibo mobile application only(Android, IOS, Windows)
- Additional goCash offer on flights (Domestic – Rs. 2500 & International – Rs. 5500) will be credited to your GoIbibo Wallet by April 10, post validation.
- Minimum booking value in case of Domestic flights is Rs.7500 & on International flights is Rs. 25000
- To avail the offer Customer need to enter coupon code CITIGO before payment. If coupon code is not entered correctly then customer will not receive any cashback.
- 30% cash back on hotels will be calculated on value remaining after applying 60% discount code on goibibo app
- Cash back could be credited to the customer card account for eligible transactions on or before 30th June, 2016 on a best effort basis. The time line provided for effecting credit is only indicative of expected period and may vary from the actual date of credit.
- The offer can be availed once per product category (Domestic Flight, International Flight, Hotel) per card
- The offer will be applicable to all Citibank Debit and Credit Card members (except Citibank Corporate Cards members) during the term.
- All transactions completed during the period starting from 00:00 hrs on 4th April, 2016 till 23:59 hrs on 6th April, 2016 shall be considered under this offer.
- Dates of Travel/Hotel Stay are completely open.
- The Offer is valid on EMI and non-EMI transactions
- Citibank merchant EMI Terms & Conditions will be applicable on EMI transactions as mentioned at: https://www.online.citibank.co.in/card-offers/p....
- The offer is brought to the Customers solely by the participating merchant
- It is mandatory for the Customers to pay with a valid Citibank credit or debit card issued in India only to avail the Offer.
- Offer is valid on all Hotels available on Goibibo mobile app unless where Promo Codes aren’t applicable.
- Offer is not valid for transactions made on IVR/Phone with Goibibo Customer Care.
- The Offer is valid only on first transaction per card. In case of more than 1 transaction the offer savings will be applicable for 1 transaction only.
- Offer is valid on Adult & Child bookings only. Not valid for Infants.
- Hotels and flights are subject to availability.
- The Offer is not applicable for a transaction where a refund/cancellation has been processed.
- The Offer cannot be clubbed with any other existing offer at Goibibo mobile app and cannot be assigned/ transferred to any other person/customer.

while I have no idea about this error but I have successfully availed the offers on HSBC and HDFC cards despite this error.
But there is a separate unrelated issue with this current offer on goibibo on using citi cards, though the amount is reduced after applying ‘CITIGO’ coupon, at the payment page it shows much higher amount.
I even mistakenly made the payment and now chasing the goibibo customer care people.

got a call from a guy from goibibo’s management team, they are working on the resolution of this issue.
Its a technical IT issue.

And even better news is that it is working for Old accounts (irrespective of claim that it is for first transaction) and also You can use 25-30% gocash.
Additional 1% on paying with PayU .
Note: Only on goibibo app. And u can pay with any mode since Airtel money is not even present on Goibibo app.

buddy I am also a Mi4i user, I always get this error when i try to make the payment but I have got the discounts corretly using HDFC and HSBC card.
This seems to be a technical issue at the goibibo side, I am charged 4447 when the amount shown on the goibibo payment page was just 1748.
Have raised a complaint with them, lets see what they come back with.
