Usually with almonds, we don’t get quality issues, I have already ordered 2 times, the same product mentioned in this thread and many more different brand’s almond since last year. never got issues with Almonds.
Walnuts/Cashews are different case altogether, and we have to be more careful for these items, especially Walnuts. Cheap unknown brands Walnuts can test a bit bitter and be broken. Similarly cashews, can usually be more small/broken and some chance of insect also in them if very old stock.
What does that tell? Almonds are treated with chemicals, they appear fresh and even the insects don’t like much to feed on them!! 
Jokes aside, almonds should be eaten only after soaking and that too in very small quantities (5-10).
