I’m having HDFC Bharat Rupay credit card. That also has 5% benefits for fuel, grocery, IRCTC, mobile recharge and Bill payment. Rs.150 Max cashback per month. No reward points in other spends.

So, if you’re looking for fuel benefits alone, then Bharat card is better option as it’s for all petrol pumps.

Or else Standard chartered super value titanium card is also good for fuel.

If you mean whether one can now avail paypal offers on rupay cards then that probably will never happen as rupay is technically a competitor to paypal payment gateway.Check the latest myntra paypal 600 cashback thread where someone confirmed rupay card not working for this offer. If you mean whether international payments on paypal now work with rupay card then I am not sure as by default it doesn’t work but I think I read somewhere that international/platinum rupay cards may work on international paypal payments but not sure.

RuPay is technically a competitor to Paypal payment gateway ? Lol

RuPay is card service provider. PayPal will accept RuPay card but it will take some time.

Diners club card also not accept on Paypal India yet.

Paypal India also planning to launch Internet banking & wallet service.

Incidentally, I do not use fuel at all in real sense!! So never delved too much into it…

From the list, Citi looks bit better to me. Hdfc and SVT has odd / unfavorable type of max cb limits (so smaller spends encouraged) and conditions (e.g. min 750 per txn required, so smaller/bike users find it difficult for svt).

Btw, Citi and Hdfc spends based fee waiver could be easier to sustain on ongoing basis, esp. given their aggressive offers. SVT fee waiver is at steep 90k i understand.

Separately, scb ultimate, hdfc diners black type cards offer ~3.3% unlimited.

Irctc 5%, grocery 5% etc also look promising but only if it works the way advertised. Those interested may go thru / add the fineprint…

https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/credit_card/b... (150rs limits do check!!)

Edit: One more recent launch in the category. Hdfc covers IOC as well…
