its with one year warranty and other are selling with 2 year warranty and with IFB you should always go with extended warranty maximum possible else you know better .. its same deal available else where , and i advice to check all indiatimes deal for such practices.. reducing price and removing important features..
the spare parts of ifb are really very pricey,
using thse machines since the 1998 bought one model senator /another digital ex 6kg
the machine is good as what you pay for…but now i think buy a lesser price of machines as the service charge per visit by company guy is 350….
parts always need to b replaced like bearing ….water hose…etc…but no worries of washing clothes.
u pay around 1000 for stand at installation….its a wending machine for those sitting at service centre….the powder called descal used to remove ingrained resedue or other sticky substances to clean the machine from inside only cost 150/3months/or say 40washes
iam fed up…its very costly repair but its still better than twin tubs…but still front loading/toploading lower range machine cud b bought…there
maintainance will b lower also…
i think wash less clothes soaked in washing powder for 1 hour////then spin/rinse is the best option/as these machine take whole lot of time and energy at each wash schedule of 1hour40mins…but in reality its 2 hours 15 mins

Seems like you have been using the washing machine for so long time now, so why don’t you suggest a brand with cheaper maintenance and better productivity.

100% agreed….IFB’s service standards are POOR, parts are very expensive & parts failure common. If you are not covered under AMC, chances are that you would would end up paying more for the parts than the machine itself costs!
IFB was fine till it was with BOSCH, afterwards there’s no quality control, development.
AVOID IFB.
You dont get much discounts offline speically with IFB washing machines, saying out of experience. I have been using it and satisfied. Also if someone wish to buy this deal posted by Venkat is a neat price/value buy as prices have increased at IFB site by 1000 bucks and India times still showing MRP Rs. 21,990.00 where as on IFB it is MRP: Rs. 22,990.00 and discount you get is almost 17 percent which is good considering you don not get it offline.
Not used this model though we have two floors and both have their Senator models.
Indiatimes has a bad reputation of cancelling orders though.
Voting up and suggesting!!!
P.S : Bosch have launched their own machines since a year now and I understand they are rock soilid and best, if I were to buy today I would buy Bosch Machine even if I dont get any discount on it.
