There data plans are disastrous.
Their speeds are already down to 4 Mbps from 8 Mbps I was getting in day time at my home.
I was hoping like that:
50 Rs 1 gb
100 Rs 3gb
200 Rs 8 gb
300 rs 12 gb
400 Rs 18 gb
500 Rs 25 gb
750 Rs 50 gb
1000 Rs 100 gb
1500 Rs unlimited
As far as data plans are concerned, nothing to term it as ‘revolutionary.’
+1They have taken the whole of India for a ride.
After 10 pm speeds used to increase at my place upto 12 mbps now it’s only 2-3 Mbps and upload is down from 5-6 to 1-2 Mbps. So much in the name of free preview. In the name of testing, they are screwing you/us.
And look for unlimited data usage: it’s 2am to 5 am.
Graveyard dowloading

One slightly off-topic help
My brother using a Desktop with Windows XP, the device does not working with the PC as the drivers not installed properly.
Anyway to get the driver files for the device? (Otherwise need to buy a wi-fi dongle unnecessarily)
Anyone have solution?

reliance is always unfair business strategy…. If reliance has user friendly budget business. why it is not number one in cellular for the past so meany years.
as long as they are competitive go with them…. they love customer money not customer. .
I remember very well that, when they start CDMA business they loot me(customers) with offers. After taking advance rental (deposit)the never paid back or adjusted against bills. They loot thousand six hundred as four months advance rental. And took agreements for 36 months post paid connection for ₹400PM, with free talk time for all calls worth 400. they never provided free calls, collected amount in the name of PSTNL charges for other operates calls. gave reliance to reliance calls only free,. That is the reason to get break-even in first year it self.try with Jio customer care with any problem, they never provide proper solution just they pose that they looking in to mater…actually…very bad CS they have….
Rim cdma anil ambani ka hai its different than mukesh ambani’s jio…
It was started by Mukeshbhai only… later when they settled the disputes it went to Anil, now Rcom is helped immensely by him through deals only they can decipher… Even adjusting the whole of 850Mhz used by Reliance CDMA is one instance. Rcom promised 10GB for getting a 4G GSM card. Who got it?
Rcom when floated initially, they had Dhirubhai Ambani Pioneer Offer, many lost thousands… Even people those days, were still paying and settling for use and misuse.
Then many had great time with Rs 500/- offer of CDMA handsets…
Bought, used and thrown or some people even changed it to GSM.

I am one of the RIM DAPO customer. At that time I was in Delhi and my parents were in Kolkata. Prior to the launch of RIM CDMA, I had Airtel connection that charged Rs.12+PSTN charges per minute for outgoing and Rs.8 per minute for incoming. We used to call only 3-4 minutes per day and still our phone bill were more than 2500 per month. It was a big exercise just to ensure that maximum information is excanged in those 3-4 minutes.
I took 2 DAPO postpaid connections and subsequently also took one Monsoon Dhamaka prepaid connection for my sister. They took quarterly PDC of 1800 (600×3) for 36 mths. Each connection was entitled to 400 minutes per month. No additional charges were applicable for on-net calls on those 400 minutes. We talked freely without any tension and even used conferencing facility to talk with my parents and married sister. Both side together the total cost was 1200 per month for 800 minutes.
I was perfectly happy to use the connections until recently Anil baba pulled the stunt of converting CDMA to 4G.

RIM CDMA was originally of Mukesh only. When Reliance divided, as per settlement it went to Anil.
Eske sath Jio ka sim bhi milegya ka
RIM DAPO and 501 dual phones offers are hot like Jio, their Master minds had hit high to earn back their total investment with in one year.
Very few people could understand their unfair planning. They are rumers at that time the RIM is behind govt to introduce PSTN charges by poking them.
JTM is charging rs6 per minute at that time. No Airtel. Tata is charging more. Started with rs12 per minute
Everything matters guys here we’re fighting to buy these and thinking how cheep the network data, at the same time petrol and diesel cost was increased. I’m thinking that there is a connection between this offer by RIM.
I have 4 simple questions .
1st : is it 4G or 3G ?
2nd : whats the validity .
3rd : Is it unlimited ?
4th : whats better flame 2 or this considering we get an Android phone for just 1000 more ?
it shows the wrong map of India.

1. It is 4G, but you can use ur 3G phone using wifi and jiochat for making calls.
2. Everything is free until 31 Dec 2016, then you can opt for plans – Prepaid or postpaid as per your choice.
3. Unlimited until Dec 2016
4. Present banner says the cost to be Rs 1999/- making it better choice for the people who would like to spend less and enjoy unlimited services until Dec 2016. Flame 2 costs Rs 3599/-

Your access to Jio Apps like Jioplay, JioOnDemand etc will be free until Dec 2017. but post Jan 2017, you will have to pay for the data…
I am not able to understand the offer.
Q1. First of all this device requires to put Jio sim ? If yes, then are the stores providing Jio sim to all ? I heard its only for Samsung,LG, Micromax, Panasonic and few more small brands.
Q2. Will they provide sim for this device ?Q3. Can I put my existing Lyf phone Jio sim in it ?
Q4. Now the main question, do we get free data/calls/sms or only free access to apps till Dec 2016 ? If only apps, then why buy it ? It is just like any other dongle/hotspot ?
Can i use my jio sim that currently I’m using in samsung phone, in this device (jio fi) ?
Well just to answer to the best of my Knowledge and understanding
This would be working like an independent phone number or you may say it’s a Wireless Broadband Internet connection.
Now coming to the point where Sim is needed, I understand that would be BUNDLED within.
Now for making calls etc, we would require JIO app on the handsets and the calls would through that.
Pls do correct me if I am wrong.

Yes it requires jio sim.
Reliance digital stores are providing jio sim for dis device.
It has all the features that are given for a lyf jio sim customer.
Just bought it for 1999 from a reliance digital store with the welcome preview
Thanks OP for the deal!
