Only buy if you are budget restricted as it has following drawbacks
- CPU is not good only 1353 benchmark
- Ram is 4gb minimum to run windows 10
- no windows 10 so run around for pirated software
- no ssd, ssd is much faster than hdd
- only 2 cell so battery back isnt going to be more than 3 hrs
- display isn’t ful HD
But having said that if you are low on budget with very basics needs like internet and ms office then you can consider.
Ideally I look for following features
- I3 8th gen or i5 8th Gen + (since 8th gen, graphics is embedded in processor and beats many standalone graphic card) so always go for 8th gen plus, if you dont need to do much multi tasking then I3 is good enough, also 8th+ Gen means latest motherboard with better features/addon slots.
- 256 / 512 SSD or if HDD then there should be option to add SSD
- 8GBRam or 4gb + up-gradable so u can atleast add in future
- FHD Display I prefer 14/13 inch narrow border display, 15 always seems bulky to me
- IPS screen or atleast with better viewing angles (check reviews)
- Weight of the laptop I prefer to be around 1.5 kg so its not bulky
- Backlit keyboard if you work in night
- Battery backup 4 hrs or more but it depends on individual needs
