They did not have the same polluting factories that pollute all kinds of water bodies including ground water, vast number of automobiles that spew out poison and high CO2/CH4 levels. Different times/locations call for different measures. So as per your suggestion, you should drink non purified water and increase your immunity and good luck with that. By the same logic, if someone smokes daily long enough he’ll get immune to smoking hazards. I wonder why no one smoked long enough to prove that.

you’d be right if one doesn’t live in metro cities. but unfortunately for all metro citizens, polluted air is a blunt reality staring us. It’s readily seen in chest X rays of almost all people in metros now. I saw a doctor say this that this is common nowadays because of pollution.
