Cc confused me, they told me I had to purchase minimum 500 in this 2 days after adding 500 or more for getting cash back
Some of the guys are unnecessarily adding to confusion of other people. I don’t think any term is unclear.
I had simply use offer page … where add money was written and it took me to add money page not on gift n credits page

Nothing obvious.. The accounts were more than 3 years old. They are NOW searching for these types of accounts with this Amazon Pay offer.

Yes, if you have strong reason to say its not duplicate account then you can definitely reply them with this point and get your account back.
As they have very good tracking system, if you don’t have any reason which proves its non-duplicate then simply accept it and utilize the left over pay balance amount in second account.
1 Yes, they may be having good tracking system and talented pl for doing this. But their approach earlier was probably not to be aggressive on blocking such ‘duplicate accounts’.
May be with launch of a RBI Regulated digital wallet, they have decided to hunt and close duplicate accounts (sbdy said his tens of accounts closed – now and suddenly all together?) to avoid related issues…
Anyways, its unfortunate as a/c blocking was rare on Amazon.in earlier…?
2 They appear still quite liberal – They are just blocking one of the two duplicate accounts ascertained…Requesting the person to use only original account..and allowing to utilize the existing money in both accounts!!
[3a] Algorithm/System based tracking could be based on ‘multiple’ data parameters. But as human we should go by the most dominant / core parameters and accordingly take up our case with Amazon CC: Mobile, Email should be different for digital wallet; 2-3 ppl from same family can have same physical address and cards; One should add 2-3 different addresses, Account should be active i.e. orders being placed at least occasionally….
[3b] Those whose accounts have been blocked should try to find out that – based on what exact factors / parameters such accounts were considered duplicate…..That input can guide our further understanding and action!!
now they are tracking credit card/debit cards too, they cancelled my transaction used same card earlier to other account but not for gift purchase.
