FYI, MTR was also a part of Maiyas Beverages legacy till last decade when they sold it off to Orkla foods. Though products of Maiyas is not as shit as you sounded.
The gulab jamuns are broken off due to their small sizes but for me it tasted well and was worth the price I paid for it.

PS – I haven’t yet tasted rasgulla.
