Terms and Conditions
Details of the Offer:
Citibank, N.A. (“Citibank/Citi”) and MakeMyTrip (“MMT”) are launching Offers (hereinafter referred to as
“Offers”) for the below mentioned Offer Period. Details of the Offer extended to all individuals holding valid
Citibank Credit cards (hereinafter referred as “Card”) issued in India, except Citi Corporate Credit cards
(hereinafter referred to “Customers”) are detailed herein below.
Offer Dates : The below mentioned offer is valid from (00:00 hours) on 12th December, 2018 till (23:59 hours) on
14
th December, 2018.
The below table contains summary of offers.

1. Domestic Flights Offer
a. 15% cashback up to INR 1500 cash back on domestic flights booked on the MakeMyTrip
website, mobile site and mobile app(android and iOS only).
b. The 15% cashback offer is valid on the booking value as per the above table excluding any
ancillary purchased (including convenience fee, meals, insurance etc.).
c. The customer must enter the promo code MMTCITI in the Deal Code field on the MakeMyTrip
website/mobile app to be eligible for cashback.
d. Offer is applicable on a minimum booking amount of INR 3000
e. The domestic flight offer is valid only on the first eligible transaction per card during the offer
period. In case a cardholder makes multiple bookings, the offer would be valid only on the first
eligible transaction per card during the offer period.
f. Offer is not applicable on payments made through My Wallet (MakeMyTrip Wallet), 3rd party
wallets, payback points, COD, Pay Pal, Pay with Points,Gift Cards and netbanking.
g. Offer is not applicable on payments made via the Book Now Pay Later mode
h. Offer is not valid on “Multi-City Domestic Flights” made through the “Multi-City” tab on
MakeMyTrip website/app.

2. International Flights Offer
a) The customer must enter the promo code MMTCITI in the Deal Code field on the MakeMyTrip
website, mobile site and mobile app to be eligible for cashback for the above International flights
offer.
b) All Airline specific offers are applicable on bookings with a maximum of 6 adults
c) Air India offer is applicable on all ex India flights (one way and return) to South East Asia, Middle
East, USA/Canada, Europe/UK, Africa and Australia destinations wherever this airline operates
d) Air France/KLM Airlines offer is applicable on flights (one way and return) to USA/Canada,
Europe/UK and South America destinations wherever this airline operates
e) Malindo Airlines offer is applicable on all ex India flights (one way and return) to Kuala Lumpur and
South East Asia destinations wherever this airline operates
f) Thai Lion Air offer is applicable on all ex Mumbai flights (one way and return) to Bangkok
destinations wherever this airline operates.
g) Air Asia offer is applicable on all ex India flights (one way and return) to South East Asia and
Australia/New Zealand destinations wherever this airline operates
h) Kuwait Airways offer is applicable on all ex India flights (one way and return) to USA & Canada and
Europe/UK destinations wherever this airline operates
i) Ethiopian Airlines offer is applicable on all ex India flights (one way and return) to Africa and South
America destinations wherever this airline operates
j) Malindo Air offers are not valid on O class.
k) Thai Lion Air offer is valid only on X class.
l) Air India offers are valid on bookings for travel between 1st January 2019 and 31th June 2019 only
m) Malindo Air, Thai Lion Air offers are valid on bookings for travel between 7th January 2019 and 31th
October 2019 only
n) Air Asia offers are valid on bookings for travel between 15th January 2019 and 30th April 2019 only.
Blackout dates applicable on certain routes.
o) Blackout dates for Kuwait Airways offers: 27th December 2018 – 10th January 2019 and 14th August
2019 – 10th September 2019.
p) Ethiopian Airlines offers arevalid on bookings for travel between 30th December 2018 to 30th June
2019 only
q) Cashback to wallet offer is also valid on net banking and 3rd party wallet payments
r) Cashback to card offer is not applicable on payments made through My Wallet (MakeMyTrip Wallet
- bonus amount), 3rd party wallets, COD, Pay Pal, Pay with Points ,EMI, MMT Gift cards and net
banking payments
s) This offer is not valid on Multi-airline tickets (where multiple airlines are present in an itinerary).
t) This offer is also applicable on EMI payments made using Citi Credit Cards

3. Domestic Hotels Offer
a. 50% cashback up to a maximum of Rs. 5000 on domestic hotel booking done on the MakeMyTrip
website, mobile site and mobile app(android and iOS only).
b. Minimum booking amount is Rs 2000 to be eligible for this offer.
c. The Domestic Hotels offer is valid only on the first eligible transaction per card during the offer
period. In case a cardholder makes multiple bookings, the offer would be valid only on the first
eligible transaction per card during the offer period.
d. The customer must enter the promo code MMTCITI in the Deal Code field on the MakeMyTrip
website/mobile app to be eligible for cashback.
e. Cash back will be calculated on per Booking ID basis. Cashback calculation will be done only on the
hotel base price(price before taxes) paid through the Citi credit card.
f. This Offer is not valid on bookings made through Pay at Hotel option, 3rd party wallets, payback
points, COD, Pay Pal,Pay with Points and netbanking
g. This Offer can not be combined with any other Citi offer running on MakeMyTrip (for e.g. CITIMMT).
h. This Offer is valid on select hotels only. Please log onto the MakeMyTrip website for more details.
i. A customer can make max 5 bookings in last 30 days using any eligible offer code on Hotel bookings
j. A customer can make max 3 bookings in a day using any eligible offer code on Hotel bookings
k. Bookings where “Book now Pay Later” option is selected, and INR 1 has been paid for reservation,
will not be eligible for the additional cashback offer

4. International Hotels Offer
a. 25% cashback up to a maximum of Rs. 30,000 on international hotel booking done on the
MakeMyTrip website, mobile site and mobile app(android and iOS only).
b. No minimum booking amount required to be eligible for the offer.
c. The offer is valid for hotel check outs till December 31st , 2019.
d. The customer must enter the promo code MMTCITI in the Deal Code field on the MakeMyTrip
website/mobile app to be eligible for cashback.
e. The International Hotels offer is valid only on the first eligible transaction per card during the offer
period. In case a cardholder makes multiple bookings, the offer would be valid only on the first
eligible transaction per card during the offer period.
f. Cash back will be calculated on per Booking ID basis. Cashback calculation will be done only on
the hotel base price(price before taxes) paid through the Citi credit card.
g. A customer can make max 5 bookings in last 30 days using any eligible offer code on Hotel bookings
h. A customer can make max 3 bookings in a day using any eligible offer code on Hotel bookings
i. This Offer is not valid on bookings made through Pay at Hotel option, 3rd party wallets, payback
points, COD, Pay Pal,Pay with Points and netbanking
j. Bookings where “Book now Pay Later” option is selected, and INR 1 has been paid for reservation,

5. Holiday Packages
 Offer on Citi Cards: Additional 10% cashback capped to INR 10,000
 No Promo code needed.
a. Offer is valid for bookings with 2 or more passengers only (excluding child and infants).
b. In order to be eligible for the cashback offer, your package booking must include at least 2 adult
passengers. This offer is applicable on packages with or without flights.

c. Offer is not applicable on payments through EDC swipes (Electronic data capture machine).
d. Offer is only applicable with the following minimum booking criteria :
Domestic Holidays International Holidays
Assisted bookings INR 85,000 INR 1,40,000
Online bookings INR 60,000 INR 95,000
e. To be eligible for the cashback, booking needs to be made from 00:00 hours on 12th
December, 2018 till 23:59 hours on 14th December, 2018 and 100% payment latest by
January 15th 2019.
f. The Customer can avail the holiday package offer for a maximum of 1 booking per card i.e. 1
booking for domestic holiday package or 1 for international holiday package.
g. Customer may choose to make the payment in multiple transactions using Citi credit cards,
however cashback will be credited in the first Citi Credit card used for payment on the total
card paid amount through Citi Credit cards.
h. Cash back will be calculated on each Booking ID and not on the number of transactions. For
example, if a Cardholder pays in 2 instalments/transactions for 1 Booking ID using Citi credit
cards, only one cashback will be given for the card paid amount using Citi credit cards for the
booking ID.
i. Customer is eligible for the Holiday Offer only for the first booking per card for a successful
transaction done using an eligible Citi credit Card.
j. Offer is not applicable on payments for online bookings made through My Wallet (MakeMyTrip
Wallet), 3rd party wallets, payback points, COD, Pay Pal,Pay with Points and netbanking
l. The Offer is only valid on holiday package bookings and not valid on standalone hotel or flight
bookings. Package refers to flight, hotel and transportation booked as a component.
m. This offer is applicable on select domestic and international holiday packages only.

6. Gift Card Offer
a. The customer will receive a cashback of 15% up to Rs.2500 to card account on purchase of
MakeMyTrip Gift Card/Voucher through Citibank Credit Card.
b. The customer is eligible for cashback under the Gift card offer for one transaction per card
during the offer period.
c. The offer is valid for bookings made on MakeMyTrip website and mobile app(Android & iOS
App only).
d. Offer is not applicable on payments made through My Wallet (MakeMyTrip Wallet), 3rd party
wallets, payback points, COD, Pay Pal, Pay with Points and netbanking.
e. This Gift card is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase
f. This Gift card/ cannot be clubbed with any other ongoing offer savings /cash back/promotion
run by MakeMyTrip.com on app or website.
g. This Gift card is valid for partial redemption. Balance would remain in the Gift Card till the
validity period and can be reused for multiple transaction.
Detailed Terms and Conditions :
1. The Offer is only valid on bookings made only using Citibank Credit cards issued in India.
2. This Offer is NOT applicable on Citibank corporate cards.
3. Add-on cards will be treated as separate cards.
k. In order to make a booking under this Offer, the customer may call on 1800 102 8900 or visit
the MakeMyTrip retail branch offices or visit www’.makemytrip.com,Mobile site/App .

4. In the event of Citi Credit Card being used to make a subsequent booking on same category, it will be
eligible for MakeMyTrip base Offer but not for the Offer on Citi Credit Cards.
5. The cash back exclusively on Citi Credit cards across Offers on Flights, Holidays and Hotels will be
provided in the Customer’s card account within 60 days from the transaction date. The time line
provided for effecting credit is only indicative of expected period and may vary from the actual date of
credit.
6. However Customer is eligible for the Offer on Citi Credit Cards only for one booking per card per
category for a successful transaction made using an eligible Citi Credit Card.
7. Citi cashback Offer is valid only on one booking under per card under each segment for domestic flights
offer, international flights, domestic hotels, international hotels, Holiday package offer, gift card ,luxury
gift card offer.
8. For all bookings, the cashback amount shall be credited to the same credit card as was used for the
purpose of making the booking, and will reflect in the monthly card statement/s.
9. This Offer is valid on EMI transactions on Citi credit card.
10. Citi merchant EMI Terms & Conditions will be applicable on EMI transactions as mentioned at:

11. Cashback will be calculated on each Booking ID and not on the number of transactions.
12. If the Customer does not receive the cashback amount, he/she can claim for the same within 3 months
from the booking date. In the event the Customer fails to do so, he/she will not be eligible for the
cashback amount.
13. Products /services are subject to availability.
14. Offer is not valid on payments made directly at hotel, through PayPal account, Pay with Points, Cash on
Delivery (COD), MakeMyTrip wallet usage(unless mentioned), net banking and any 3rd party wallets
15. For any card related claims/ issues, the Customer shall approach Citibank and MakeMyTrip shall not
entertain any such claims.
16. This Offer includes cashback on use of appropriate promo code wherever applicable. The Customer
cannot club any other Offers along with this Offer on the same booking ID. The Offer cannot be
transferred/ assigned to any other person or Customer.
17. The Customer shall not be entitled to cashback in the event of partial/full cancellation of booking. If the
Customer cancels the travel service purchase after the cashback amount is credited, MakeMyTrip will
refund the purchase price after deducting the cashback amount and any other applicable cancellation
charges/penalty. For example, if a Customer has paid INR. 20,000/- (price quoted by MakeMyTrip) for a
travel service and a cashback of INR. 2500 has been credited to the Customer’s account, the net amount
paid by the Customer is INR. 17,500. Thus, if the Customer cancels the booking, MakeMyTrip will deduct
the cancellation charge/penalty from INR. 17,500/- and the balance amount will be credited to the
Customer’s account.
18. In the event of rescheduling, the Customer shall bear the fare difference (regardless of whether the
component is in the base fare or in tax + surcharge) and other applicable rescheduling fees.
19. User Agreement and Privacy Policy at MakeMyTrip website shall be applicable to Customers during the
booking of flights, hotels and transportation.
20. Customers, who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from making bookings for their Customers
under this offer and MakeMyTrip reserves the right to deny the Offer against such bookings and to
cancel such bookings. For such cases, MakeMyTrip will not refund the booking amount.
21. MakeMyTrip will be entitled to reject any claim in case there is any abuse/misuse of the Offer by the
Customer or the claim is not eligible under the Offer.
22. Citibank and MakeMyTrip reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning
any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to
replace, wholly or in part, this Offer by another Offer, whether similar to this Offer or not, or to extend
or withdraw it altogether.

23. In no event, the entire liability of MakeMyTrip to a Customer, entitled under the said Offer, for any
dispute arising in connection with this Offer, shall exceed the cashback amount.
24. The T&Cs of this Offer shall be governed by the laws of India. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the
exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals in New Delhi only.
25. Any disputes regarding delivery, service, suitability, merchantability, availability or quality of the Offer
and/or products/services under the Offer must be addressed in writing, by the Customers directly to
MakeMyTrip and that Citibank shall not entertain any communication in this regard.
26. Citibank shall in no way be liable if any Customer is unable to login to MakeMyTrip due to incompatibility
of device, internet usage plans, or any other reason whatsoever.
27. The Offer is valid only if the Customer’s card account continues to be in good standing and payment
continues to reach Citibank before the payment due date.
28. Citibank, its group entities, or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, vendors,
shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury
that may be suffered or incurred, by the Customers, directly or indirectly, as a result of participating in
the Offer or by the use or non-use, acceptance or decline or suitability or effectiveness of the services
pertaining to the Offer.
29. Nothing herein amounts to a commitment or representation by Citibank or MakeMyTrip to conduct
further such Offers.
30. If the Offer and/or anything to be done by Citibank or MakeMyTrip in respect of the Offer is prevented
or delayed by causes, circumstances or events beyond the control of Citibank or MakeMyTrip, including
but not limited to computer viruses, tampering, unauthorised intervention, interception, fraud,
technical failures, floods, fires, accidents, earthquakes, riots, explosions, wars, hostilities, acts of
government or other causes of like or similar or other character beyond the control of Citibank or the
other entity/ies, then Citibank and/or MakeMyTrip shall not be liable for the same to the extent so
prevented or delayed, and will not be liable for any consequences.
31. The terms & conditions of the Offer shall be in addition to & not in substitution/derogation to the rules
& regulations governing the use of the Citibank credit card and/or the Citibank websites as stated above.
Payment of fees/service charges/all other amounts due from the Customer to Citibank from usage of
credit cards by the Customer under this Offer and/or otherwise will be governed by Citibank Terms &
Conditions, Cardmember terms and conditions and Most Important Terms and Conditions. Customer

32. All of Citibank’s actions shall be on a best-efforts basis only.
33. The Customers agree to be bound by the terms & conditions contained herein. Without a Customer
being required to do any further act, he/she shall be deemed to have read, understood and
unconditionally accepted the terms & conditions herein.
