I’ve seen TDS measured in PPM (parts per million). How does that translate to mg/L ?

I read about this few days back.
Can someone guide me, how much it would cost monthly for Filter replacement?

I really don’t understand why people think high PPM is bad.
High PPM just indicates High TDS (total dissolved solids) in water.
TDS Meyer does not measure contaminants , it just tells about dissolved solids , which can also be useful minerals like magnesium, potassium, calcium(these minerals come into water due to water passing through rocks, soil etc).
Is my understanding correct?

The best value should be between 300-400 mg/l for best taste and good amount of minerals.
I noticed that most of the service agent set it around 50 to 150.
We can safely drink upto 1000 mg/l water.
WHO said that upto 1200 is acceptable.
WHO table as per taste:
Excellent – below 300 mg/l
Good – 300-600 mg/l
Fair – 600-900 mg/l
Poor – 900- 1200 mg/l
unacceptable – if very low value and above 1200 mg/l

what solids/minerals it dissolves is important. If it is flouride very dangerous. No tds meter will tell this. Baded on the area we will live the dissolved solids vary

I think it’s mentioned in mi site. 1299 for one filter and 899 I guess for other one . But best thing is do it your self. I’m tired calling a vendor each time. So next time I buy I’m planning to buy this.

True but all current filters including all branded companies import from china and just paste their stickers on top of it

Good info, however note down without reviews. Rest of reputed brands have reviews
