Comedy is Microsoft doesn’t know who is its target customer… This device is an example of their marketing and design team’s lack of common sense regarding market.. neither its for design and development nor for great entertainment experience…From Screen size to CPU selection everything is wrong with this device… Microsoft has a great history of OS and Productivity softwares but It never pushed itself to design Everyone’s Laptop under $700 (the people’s budget) and never encouraged or given guidelines to OEMs to use SSD over HDD , To use better WebCam sensor , to use IPS instead of TN Display panel, to use min 60whr of battery etc… I am not saying they should include best quality of all these components …buy they should provide a value for the money…we are still seeing I3 6th/7th gen processor laptops with poor display , with poor battery backup (under 32-48whr), with slowest HDD (5400rpm) being sold at price of 25-45k budget. Even some of more expensive laptops don’t get many of these upgrades… Microsoft should update its minimum system requirements to OEMs to use faster RAM, Faster Storage, better battery , IPS display… Out of these , 3 things are as important as CPU/GPU for better user experience …
1) Display (FHD IPS should be min.for i3)
2) SSD (even Entry level will do fine)
3) Battery ( min. 4 cell 60whr )
