REFERRAL PROGRAM: TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to Myntra. This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 that requires publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy and Terms of Use for access or usage of Myntra marketplace platform (hereinafter referred to as “Myntra”).
Your use of the Myntra and services and tools are governed by “Terms of Use” as applicable to the Myntra including the applicable policies which are incorporated herein by way of reference. By mere use of the Myntra, You shall be contracting with Myntra Designs Private Limited and these terms and conditions including the policies constitute Your binding obligations, with Myntra.
In these Terms, references to “You”, “User”, “Your” shall mean the end user/shopper/customer accessing Myntra. The term “Myntra”, “We”, “Us”, “Our” shall mean Myntra Designs Private Limited and its affiliates.
For the purpose of this program,
An existing User of the Myntra App who invites his/her friends to download and use the Myntra App by sharing his/her referral code, shall be termed as the Referrer.
A new user who downloads and signs-up with the Myntra App for the first time on a device on which Myntra App was not installed earlier, after using the referral code of an existing Myntra App User shall be termed as the Referee.
Subject to the terms and conditions mentioned herein, the referral rewards shall be the following:
When the Referee downloads the Myntra App and signs up successfully, he/she shall receive Myntra points worth Rs. 100/-.
When the Referee makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App, the Referrer shall receive Myntra points worth Rs. 100/-. However, the Referrer shall be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points shall remain inactive until that time period.
From time to time, We will run ‘Double Rewards’ campaign, during which the rewards would be as below:
1. If the Referee downloads the Myntra App and signs up successfully during this period, he/she will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 200.
2. If the Referee makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App during this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 200. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.
3. If the Referee makes his/her transaction on the Myntra App outside this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs 100. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.
From time to time, We will run ‘Triple Rewards’ campaign, during which the rewards would be as below:
1. If the Referee downloads the Myntra App and signs up successfully during this period, he/she will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 300.
2. If the Referee makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App during this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 300. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.
3. If the Referee makes his/her transaction on the Myntra App outside this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs 100. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.
The Referee shall be eligible to receive the referral reward, if and only if the following conditions are met:
The device on which the Referee downloads the Myntra App, must not have installed the Myntra App earlier.
The Email ID and/or Phone number through which the Referee signs-up with Myntra App, must not have been used for signing up with the Myntra App earlier.
The mobile number provided by the Referee for receiving the OTP must not have been used for receiving an OTP for this program earlier.
The device on which the Referee downloads the Myntra App should not be rooted or Jail-broken.
Neither the Referrer nor the Referee should install the Myntra App using App Runtime for Chrome, Emulators or Simulators.
Upon successful sign-up, provided all the conditions above are met:
The Referee shall receive the referral reward within 24 hours of sign-up. Myntra shall reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
The Referee will be able to redeem these points immediately after receiving them. Myntra shall reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
For each case of referral, the Referrer shall be eligible to receive the referral reward, if and only if the following conditions are met:
The Referee in question meets all the eligibility criteria listed above.
The Referee uses the referral code of the Referrer to sign-up with the Myntra app.
The Referee makes a transaction on the Myntra app.
Upon successful order placement by the Referee, provided all the conditions listed above are met:
The Referrer shall receive the referral reward within 24 hours of order placement by the Referee, provided all the conditions listed above are met. Myntra shall reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
These points can be redeemed by the Referrer only 30 days after the completion of delivery of the Referee’s order (and the return period of this order is over). We will reserve the right, in our sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice to you to modify this waiting period.
Till the completion of this waiting period mentioned above, the points will remain at inactive state in the Referrer’s Myntra account. These inactive points will be taken back if:
1. The order is cancelled by the Referee, Or
2. The order can’t be delivered, Or
3. The Referee declines to accept the order, Or
4. The Referee returns any item within the order, Or
5. The Referee exchanges any item within the order
An user can send unlimited referral invitations through this program. However, the maximum amount of rewards one can earn through this program is limited to Rs. 4,000.
Rewards under this program shall be given in the form of Myntra Points. Usage/redemption of Myntra points will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
Myntra points can be used only for making a purchase on the Myntra app. These cannot be taken as cash-back, or transferred to a bank account.
Myntra points cannot be transferred from one Myntra account to another.
Usage of Myntra Points will be restricted to a maximum of 20% of the final order amount (inclusive of Shipping Charge, if any, and VAT).
These points need to be redeemed within 90 days from the day they become active. Post that these points will expire.
Myntra reserves the right to change/modify these usage criteria. In that event, the user shall be notified.
Any fraud or abuse concerning the program is subject to strict administrative and / or legal action by us, including but not limited to reversal of referral reward and/or termination of membership. A fraud encompasses:
If a user is found referring himself using multiple IDs or phone numbers.
If a user is found making multiple successful referrals and redeeming his/her referral rewards and then a majority of his/her Referees return/cancel their orders.
Any other attempt to take unfair advantage, as deemed by us, of the Referral Program.
Participation in the Myntra Referral Program may require you to submit personal information about you and the users you refer, such as name and email address. You agree to receive communications from us with regard to your participation in the Myntra Referral Program, and to allow us to communicate with your friends about your participation (for example, by disclosing to your friends that an invitation was sent by you). Any information collected from you or your referred users as part of the Myntra Referral Program shall be subject to Myntra’s Privacy Policy.
We may terminate your eligibility for a referral bonus or terminate your account, or the accounts of Myntra members you refer, if you or they take any of the following actions:
Open multiple accounts, including with different email addresses, for the same person in order to generate additional referral rewards.
Refer customers using spam, display advertising, sponsored links, unsolicited e-mails, or links on message boards or forums.
Use false names, impersonate other people, or otherwise provide false or misleading information to us.
Offer incentives to others to sign-up with Myntra using your referral code.
Violate these terms or any other terms and conditions on Myntra.
Participate in the Myntra Referral Program where doing so would be prohibited by any applicable law or regulations.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion at any time and without prior notice to you to add to, remove or otherwise change the terms of this program, including but not limited to:
Modifying the amount of the referral rewards.
Modifying the eligibility criteria for the Referee and/or the Referrer.
Modifying when the referral reward is given to the Referee and/or the Referrer.
Modifying how you may use the referral rewards earned through this program.
Requiring minimum purchase amounts for redemption of referral reward.
Instituting a cap on the maximum number of successful referrals for which the Referrer earns rewards.
Modifying the maximum amount of referral rewards that one may earn.
Discontinuing the Myntra Referral Program entirely.
We shall post an updated version of these terms on the Myntra App, and you shall be deemed to have accepted such changes by continuing to use the Myntra App or the Myntra Referral Program after the date such changes are posted.
This is a limited period offer and is subject to change, at the sole discretion of Myntra.
Myntra reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel, update or withdraw this Program at any time without notice. Upon such premature suspension, inconvenience, cessation, withdrawal, termination or closure by the Company, no person shall be entitled to claim loss of any kind whatsoever.
This program is valid only on Myntra’s mobile application (on Android, iOS and Windows platforms) and on no other website/mobile application.
Customers agree to be bound by these “Terms and Conditions”, the “Terms of Use”, “Privacy Policy” and other relevant documentation that are available on Myntra Mobile App/website including any modifications, alterations or updates that we make.
All disputes arising out of the referral program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Bangalore, India.
From time to time, We will run ‘5X Rewards’ campaign. During this period, the rewards would be as below:
If the Referee downloads the Myntra App and signs up successfully during this period, he/she will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 500.
If the Referee makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App during this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 500. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.
If the Referee makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App outside this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 100. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.
Date and time of any future ‘5X Reward’ campaign will be as per our jurisdiction.
From time to time, We will run ‘Invite & Gift’ campaign. During this period, the rewards would be as below:
If the Referee downloads the Myntra App and signs up successfully during this period, he/she will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 1001.
If the Referee makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App during this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 100. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.
If the Referee makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App outside this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs. 100. However, the Referrer will be able to redeem these points only 30 days after the Referee’s order is successfully delivered (and the return period of the order has lapsed). These points will remain inactive till that time.

If the Referee signs-up successfully on the Myntra App during this period, the Referrer will receive Myntra points worth Rs.100 at that moment itself. The Referrer will be able to redeem these points from the moment, he/she gets point in his/her account.
The Referrer or the referee will not get any Myntra points if the Referrer makes his/her first transaction on the Myntra App outside or during this period.
Date and time of any future ‘Instant Reward’ campaign will be as per our jurisdiction.
