Yes, Nescafe Classic is 100% coffee (i.e. no chicory added). But I find it bitter and so I prefer Bru Gold. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

personal thanks for keeping me in your recall bhai, even though i was too late to see it.

technically (in Dimerspeak) it could be called a loot (i am not sure if the 100 FC cashback on first purchase via app offer is still up), though i bought it for the listed 196rs on 11 Jun, from NIKKI INTERNATIONAL-Mundka-Tikri-VOI.
.
later some nephew told me that ‘chacha the app offer is/was also for old customers, first app install and first order via app = 100 cashback if order is above 100rs’.

i was feeling bit dump but since the packing was fairly okay and the product was packed/made in feb-2016.. it was not too fresh/ not to old.. so a 7.5/10 experience.

bonny pure coffee means ? every processing of such instant coffee changes the original texture or quality of the pods/beans.

If i take it from what DS wrote, then yes.. Classic is Classic.. no intended flavouring.

but yeah.. for a bitter guy https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif like me bitter coffee works great (outside home.. as in hotels or restrau i only have black coffee or if decoction liquor is available then that.

those who really want the kick of strong coffee can try ICH outlets in their own towns or try the Javanese (Indonesian) coffee (same Nescafe, but made from Id plantations).
the decaf one is great too. but in India, from Nestle the only decaf instant coffee is the one coming from Korea and selling at 2.5x the prices https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_lol.gif

I happened to try it first in 2003-2004 at some social event.. later thought of buying it while i was strolling at a Sahakar Bhandar (quasi run/supplied to by Reliance)
and chanced upon the decaf variant of https://www.aaramshop.com/product-detail/nescaf...

it was like 500-550INR for 100grams

these (decafs) are good too for trying once

also the blends of nescafe too are good to try (do look up on AmazonIN for same names to check the thing)

just a generic tip/pointer for those who may inadvertently be doing it the other way round:

these instant coffee powders are NOT supposed to be ‘boiled’ and are not your normal adrak waali chai (brought to a boil dozen times)

the bitterness will only get enhanced if you do that. (the roasting process already does enough to make it so https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif )
[i usually only add the coffee ‘after’ the heated thing has cooled down (if it is for hot coffee). when i am at the mercy of relatives, every theory goes out of the window. at best i request them to not boil the liquid but only heat it till (it is) warm.]
