Hmm depends on what TV u own .

Even if its a HD ready 32 inch TV I suggest go for HD connection with HD package you will feel quite a bit of difference in clarity . and yes u can have an HD set and choose an SD package nothing comples you to choose HD package . And I think one of the reasons why there’s quality difference in SD and HD set top boxes is because HD connects with HDMI whereas SD with the normal pin connection. Though I might be entirely wrong on this .

Also Videocon hd set top boxes come with a USB support for recording but u need a pendrive for it and there is some charge I guess rs 3 per day for the service

Hmm I generally do 100 200 recharges never tried a 50 on 50 on d2h . but generally from outside brick and mortar shops minimum recharge is rs 10 to any amount .the top up adds to ur account balance

bhai go for HD if need HD clarity & u r willing to 400-700 per month
go for SD if u r ok with cable connection like clarity and willing to pay 180-400 per month.

I think paying 200- 300 more and buying hd box is advisable.

Then atleast there will be an option of both hd or sd pack.

If we buy sd box then we will be bound to view sd channels only.

No doubt this is very good deal from komparify in recent times. I am a happy customer of videocon d2h ( though their box interface sucks, remote is toyish cheap plastic). Bought my box & package from ebay with promo code D2HPROMO15 (now expired).
Do look for other coupon & mobikwik wallet combination. If ur budget permits, go for annual package for maximum bang for ur buck.

For remote yes its cheap plastic but its equally slim i dont know which remote u have the latest boxes ship with ir remotes which is super slim but delicare !! If u have an ir transmitter chip in ur android phone or there was some ir transmitter device for cheap 50 bucks on alibaba which plugs into your earphone jack u can control stb from your mobile .Also ir remotes work even with thick beams .So u can change channels even through walls though I don’t know if I should mention it as a feature
