We should always try to use inexpensive rechargeable cells instead of these use and throw batteries. You can charge them 100s of times and none of these batteries come close to the economy and flexibility of rechargeable ones some of which are available for less than Rs.30 a piece. I am using them for years and can vouch on them that except for the ones I get with new products, I never use normal cells anymore.
Use rechargeable cells and save the ENVIRONMENT off such use and throw batteries which counts for millions of these discarded as waste!

Bro , where can i get 1.5v AA rechargeable batteries? I can find only 1.2V rechargeable batteries….. My telephone requires 1.5v AA battery…doesn’t work with 1.2v AA rechargeable bateries

The 1.5V alkaline battery profile dips to 1.2V after initial discharge and the rechargeable battery stays at 1.2V for a long time. That’s the only difference. They are totally compatible for all devices.

P.S: My kodak rechargeable Ni-MH batteries rated at 1.2V charge upto 1.39V at full charge. So, you need not worry about the difference between 1.2V and 1.5V once you have fully charged rechargeable batteries.
