purely from a consumer point of view, (without getting into the right or wrong) you are within your rights to make the seller/site see sense and offer you the concession as is available on other portals.

but if TataCliq is known for not doing so or you expect a hiccup in the site agreeing to issue the concession, then it might be prudent to raise a return request on Tata and procure it cheaper elsewhere.. (now these 50% off plus cashback offer are commonplace everywhere)
assuming that you are satisfied with the performance and/or are happy with the brand/ its post purchase service.


personally, I would prefer to have multiple root canal procedures in a single day WITHOUT ANY ANAESTHESIA/SEDATIVES, than to be left at the mercy of Flipkart group for things like after sales support. [as is the case with the various Jarden Consumer Solutions (JardenCS) brands in India].
Oster could not have hired a worse agency for providing support to their Indian consumers…and then some!

the legacy of the name is drawn from their home market, but after JardenCS bought the brand, Now mostly it is a Dongguan or HK brand.

No issues at all.
My point of view is that i have benefited from the DesiDime (DD) community and the whole idea is to build trust in the community. I deal i posted after i placed the ordered for self and so it was my moral obligation to share the picture, once the product was received..

The other side of visiting DD is that at times i have been ordering things based on discount and in reality i may not have a real need for it.
In fact one of my 2017 resolution is to cut down on my visits and buying, after visiting DD

yes! ironically, it isn’t saving but spending that promulgates via platforms like these. PLEASE let the last remark not be seen as showing these beautiful fora in bad light.
It is not just you, not just me but many many others who give in to the ‘impulse buying’ and that comes from oneself. One will only be fooling themselves if we shift the onus of our lacunae to the fora!
