The main issue is less number of merchants accepting PayPal in India. Unless it is widely accepted as payment method on most of the online and offline transactions it is not very enthusiastic to use it. Everyday, I dont want to book a bus. For movies, if I use other means of payment then I get cashback but the cashback stored in PayPal will not give me any cashback (if the transaction is not the first). Other merchants are in lifestyle category, not sure if we are so frequent buyers of lifestyle product.
