Cash back will be cancelled in case of full refunds or cancellation of orders
In Partial refund case cashback will be rolled back in same proportionate amount
Mobile number needs to be verified to be eligible for cashback
In case of any disputes the customer needs to get in touch with the merchant/brand
RBI mandates that upto Rs. 10,000 can be added in a month to a non-upgraded wallet. In case you breach these limits then cash back will get added to your wallet in the next calendar month. Had a bad experience with this deal few days back on an airport ride from Navi Mumbai. Code applied, ride completed but money not deducted from paytm wallet. Followed up with meru customer care few hours later as I was being honest and told driver that the trip ride amount will be paid by paytm. Meru customer care is really bad and unprofessional. They told me to pay money in cash to driver ( haha I said ride ended long long ago and arrived at destination city) or to put money in citrus wallet so that they can automatically debit the due amount. If there is a technical error and money not deducted from paytm, then paytm can’t be used for clearing that due balance and worst is that cashback code which was applied goes waste. Anyhow, I prefer uber and I regret using Meru Genie for my airport ride.
