Seller is Elegant Home Appliances (same as pepperfry) so i guess they will give warranty

that is true, especially with oil nd dust filter. But @dharmanath481 faber too are quirky people. Had to write to their regional sales top shots, just to get the exact dimensions of the model that seemed suitable. Then too did not get it. (many brands simply give these details on the website itself, but Faber are on cloud nine)

This isn’t a place to be mentioning other brands, but since you are in Pune, may be you can opine about Elica? Have settled for their 3burner table top stove and at least some designs of the hob (chimney) are getting the green from the interiors fellow and the ladies of the house. Require minimum 900 suction though.

I first chose oxygen chimney and a 4 burner surya glasstop auto stove : rs.28000
then narrowed down on faber topaz and 4 bourner faber glasstop auto stove : rs. 21500

Then found surya glasstip auto stove for just Rs. 2500 after cb on paytm so bought that.

Now looking for a deal for chimney. My new kitchen will have 2 chimney’s the seconday is a Faber Ceole which will be for the induction cooktops. (Hate when my wife calls in office early morning that the cylinder has gone empty’)

Will call up this Elegant guys today and find about their dealer network in Pune. Fankly oxygen or eleica or Faber the mechanism is almost same inside. If the deal works out them total combo comes to less than 10K!!!!

Spoke to Elegant fellows from Delhi,

They have third party tieup for service and support and parts are arranged usually within 24hours.

There are 2 chimney’s the fellow recommended the 1001 and 1008 (which is zero maintainance with a removable oil collector ) both are 1000 cfm while the 1010 is 1100 cfm but makes louder noise so not recommended by him for home use.

installation charge is Rs. 800 9local charge Rs. 500) and visit charges are also payable if 2 services free is mentioned then thats an additional cost saving

I am recommending this for FPD.

After my study yesterday and visiting a local kitchen appliances shop. There is a direct savings of Rs. 4500 for the Elegent ele 1001 when compared to similar models of similar specs.
