Thanks ashik for the vote .. this is having huge price difference but no response from dimers…

good price. But it cannot play content from external hard disk .
This is major draw back considering most of the content now a days will be in external Hard Disks

Where does it say that?

One reviewer has said that his 500GB HDD works fine with this.

If one starts buying things based on the image posted on a 3rd party website, then he would end up with most of the wrong products in his house.

i own this. It works with flash drives only. i am live example using this for past 1 year
EDIT: Not sure if any firmware upgrade is needed to work with 500Gb Hard disk

you need to format HDD as Fat32 .then it will work

I think NTFS will also work. Please check the link to the manual that I have provided earlier.
