Always had tough luck with these induction cooktops (Be it any brand – Philips, Preeti, Prestige, Pigeon)
They all work fine for an year or so n then stops working abruptly

Indeed, but the problem isn’t with induction tech. These products are badly engineered. The induction coil is placed too close to other electronics creating all sorts of problems. You can get induction from Havels, it offers 2 years warranty. So you can get it repaired once it breaks down in a year and it’ll break down.

Last year in Diwali i got it for ~900rs. It burnt out in a month. Nobody from pigeon came to repair for 4 months even after a lot of follow up. I filed a complaint in online consumer forum and it then got resolved in a week.
