Asus built quality is better compared to Xiaomi
If you don’t consider camera and sound quality, then go for Asus
Any specific model you are talking about?? 
Don’t get hyped about SD 660, it is just over clocked version of SD 636
Performance improvement will be very minimal
Camera + Display + Battery ( Performance + Charging time ) should be your priority
If you are some one who uses phone cases all the time, build quality (Plastic/Metal/Glass) makes no difference

But no one its talking is about:
1. Pathetic software issues of ASUS which never get resolved. I am hearing that there are so many bugs that you will get fed up of the phone soon.
2. Asus does not even support Quick Charge which is a HUGE let down. Its 10w fast charge is a marketing gimmick & is slower than QC2 (vs RN7’s QC4+).

Not at all. I say this as someone who owns 2 Xiaomi devices all running AOSP-based custom ROMs. And will buy yet another probably the Poco F2. Just yesterday I ran into yet another irritant on MIUI in that in order to change/spoof MAC address one has to jump through hoops whereas on AOSP it’s a walk in the park. Besides have they started including exFAT support OOB? Custom fonts are a no-go with latest MIUI 10 as it gets reverted after every reboot ( not gonna apply for a so-called Designer account for this trivial purpose ). Also for the Redmi 3s the security patch level had not been updated for close to 2 years! Most MIUI updates are just cosmetic ones. Don’t fix existing bugs and often introduce new ones. No use discussing Android OS updates even.
For those who don’t need a mobile urgently, wait for flipkart sales and can look at the moto z2 play for 9k.. It comes at that price for first 10-20 mins of that sale. You will get a 1.5 year old stock. But much superior camera, amoled screen(old screen 16:9 ratio), but performance may be a bit less due to old gen processor. But for daily usage, it seems to a be good value for money. So depends upon priority.

In 20k range I have another recomabdation.. , lg v30 plus on flipkart sales 23.5k.. It has old gen sd835 flagship processor, which is just marginally slower then 845, camera is very good except for slow motion videos, has 2k led display. But sound is just too good for a mobile, which can drive my sennheiser HD 598, comes with okay quality BO headset. These headset are a quite a match for senns entry level earphones in range of 1.5k. Quad dac was the immediate deciding factor for me and yes it is that good.. I future sales it may come down a bit more. Oh selfie camera resolution is bad, otherwise on other parameters it is good though. And you can literally always use the backside wide angle camera for selfie as it is that wide you will never miss people in the shot.

No i meant to say i generally charge it upto 90-95% and charge again at around 10% so my full time usage is around 34hours this is what i am trying to say.
And to charge pro m1 upto 100% it takes more than 2.5 hours anyhow coz of it’s 5000mah battery..
Not in a mood in these days due to some personal reasons that’s y i think i made a mess.
